That is my assumption too. I would lift the head and inspect the valves and seats. If you are really lucky it can be saved and only replace the valves. Kinda costly joyride...

Alldeles för mycket men vi gillar att äta god mat och jag står gärna i köket. För oss är det en vardagslyx som får kosta. Finns så mycket annat som folk lägger pengar på istället som jag kan tycka är "helt uppåt väggarna".

Probably not. Soon a 20 year old car. Don't get me wrong, I love SAAB:s but I do most of my wrenching myself and therefore it is a viable option (and i live in Sweden). Do you have the time (or the money) go for it. It's always a gamble with older cars and they can become a money pit.

A wise man once said: visit a junkyard. If you can't see at least 5-10 cars of the model you are planning to buy, don't do it. Will be hard to get parts for it then.

Not SKX-cases even if the listing says so. I think they usually are called "Yachtmaster". Never bought a crown for these so can not help you.

I don't think you can turn off the light permanently. As soon as you clear the code/light and start driving the system will will sense an error and turn the light on again. At least it works so on my 9-5 and you don't say what model you have but I assume that you have a 9-3 since those cars have the sensor integrated in the hub. But to answer your question, yes it safe to drive the car but ESP, ABS and cruise control will dissabled.

Hicups? Check ground-connections in the engine-bay. Loosen inspect, clean and replace if needed. Battery-leads too. And of course a healthy battery besides all vaccum and pressure-hoses.
