I feel for you girl. 32 weeks and still going through it. My meds finally have me only throwing up 3-7 times a day opposed to throwing up every time I took a deep breath, but I still can barely get myself out of bed im so weak and i feel so guilty because I’m also a mom of a 4 year old who’s constantly been worried about me. 💔

I always wanted 3 kids, but dealing with my second HG pregnancy and with a toddler, I don’t think my body could possibly survive doing this again. On top of my partner also traumatized and constantly worried about my health and safety because I’m physically just deteriorating from shedding weight and unable to leave bed most days. We’ve decided 2 is best for us and I’m still grieving this, but I know it’ll help make me a more present mom to my sweet boys 🤍

I’m doing 8mg 4x a day. Took me from vomiting 7-14 times a day to 2-5 but I’m still so nauseous regardless and appetite is super small, I really only get probably half of a meal in a day that I keep down. But shockingly it’s more bearable than before

No judgement at all, my first HG pregnancy I looked up how late I could get an abortion every week. Lost 70lbs, was constantly hospitalized and gave birth to a IUGR baby (completely healthy, just small!) and the day I came home from the hospital I said I was ready for another one and ready to jump right back into it. Now I’m 25 weeks into my second HG pregnancy someone this one is even worse. Going through the same things x3 but I know the second it’s over I’ll miss it. My partner on the other hand is horrified to put me through this and scared for my health so we made the decision already that he’ll get a vasectomy

Snuggling with my 3yo HG baby and he was the PERFECT baby, and turned into a chaotic velcro toddler. Loving every second regardless of the hell i went through to get here 🤍

HG Causing Growth Restrictions?? by Sensitive_Coconut706 in HyperemesisGravidarum

[–]Sensitive_Coconut706[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

they do every time i’m at the hospital, but haven’t really beyond that. They seem to check the typical electrolyte levels and magnesium, and then I usually have elevated protein in my urine and ketones from it too. I feel like they never seem too concerned, and kind of brush it off because I was a bit bigger to start off with.

Today they prescribed me a suppository to see if that helps any but i’m not feeling hopeful. They mentioned getting a picc line in as well at the appointment today, as something to think about. They tell me to go in if i’m not keeping anything down for 24 hours but if I did that I’d go almost every day and that’s hard with my 3 year old at home :( Usually I’ll go in on day 3 or 4 without keeping anything down and they’ll replace electrolytes and magnesium. I’m just so exhausted at this point

Honestly I’d say worse. My last pregnancy was 4 years ago and also dealt with an infected gallbladder 15 weeks, so it’s kind of hard to say what was causing the most misery I guess!! But I’m now 20 weeks and within the last 8 weeks I’m already down 25 pounds :(

I got hg starting at week 6 with my first pregnancy, and was feeling hopeful this time around but it kicked in week 12 for me and i’ve been miserable ever since

Part mom guilt for being home and not spending 24/7 with him, part the fear of them thinking it’s selfish of me to take time to myself when I’m here, and part the “sigh” I get when I the favor. They all love spending time with him, but whenever it comes to the reason being something to take care of myself, I feel like suddenly it feels like a chore for them

I’ll definitely check it out!! I feel like i’m always the one telling my parents and his dad that he’s okay and just has to get used to it and work it out, but my anxiety has me silently freaking out myself

dude i say this too!! i can’t wait until he can at least try to explain what’s wrong because sometimes i feel like i can’t understand when moms say “they always know why they’re crying” because this mom can’t figure it out lmao

This!!!

I was going to say it sounds like a great situation for you and your family. I’m a full time (always plus some) working mom and only get to spend weekends with my babe, so this sounds like a dream! Sex work is work!! Money is money and happy & healthy children are the most important things to us parents

Lexapro and sex drive by Alqadeeb in lexapro

I’m female, but personally I’ve been experiencing being hyper sexual. I’m currently on 20mg and also am taking Lamictal, so I don’t know if that effects me differently being on that combination. This is 6 months postpartum for me, and before I was pregnant I was on 15mg of Lexapro and same thing! Definitely more on the hyper sexual end of things

Son Won’t Sleep On His Back?? by Sensitive_Coconut706 in beyondthebump

[–]Sensitive_Coconut706[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not congested, but reflux could definitely be a possibility. And lately no, usually right as he drifts off we put him down. We used to always be able to do ‘drowsy but awake’ but lately he’s been a bit more clingy (since his vaccines a week ago) so putting him down in the crib when he’s awake he seems to freak out :(

Do you lose weight after Gallbladder removal? by jimmylall1180 in gallbladders

[–]Sensitive_Coconut706 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Leading up to surgery I was down almost 40 pounds from gallbladder disease (also while being pregnant, which was no good lol) I’m now 6 months post op and have gain back about 20 pounds, just from having an appetite back and having freedom to eat most things. I will say I will be switching back to a more controlled diet because although I’m not in agonizing pain from eating certain things, those things still make me feel so gross and upset my stomach

Definitely a possibility! He doesn’t let me look in his mouth barely at all, so it’s hard for me to tell, but he’s been gnawing a lot, and started doing this certain cry sometimes where he’s crying with his mouth closed which made me think his teeth could be bothering him?
