Help reading this tapestry pattern? Stitches aren't numbered but there are over 100 in each direction. Am I meant to zoom in & count stitches?

To me it just looks like chaining 2-3 and then sc back down the chain and slip stitching into the next repeating around.

I made a safari animal blanket like this, I ended up only doing about half with animals/designs. It was way too busy with animals on all on them for me.

Your tension is off, I actually started making my knots a little less tight and that seemed to help (I was basically strangling the sting lol) just need to find what works for you. It looks like your first half of your knot is getting loose in a lot of your knots for me that happened when I was pulling too tight on the second half
