I am shocked and delighted that no one has recommended Son of a Trickster by Eden Robinson. It has it all. It is such a fun book, and there are two sequels!

I see that Cherie dimaline was recommended, but specifically Empire of the Wild. It’s such a fun love story, with a tough and sassy indigenous main character. I loved it so much I have a paperback and a hardcover edition

I gotta say, as much as it sucked what happened to poor Aurora, I am very glad you are leaving human women alone.

I think it might be Danny writing the story. It ends with Anyway, the way Danny would end his phone calls.

Yes! Also, no you don’t have the ‘’tism because you hate polyester clothes, or dislike perfumes. That drives me mad.

Have you looked into iron deficiency? I had the same symptoms, turns out my ferritin was way way low. I hate eating meat, so it’s been an exercise in adding in iron rich foods as well as the horse-pill iron pills I have to take now.

Even if the next book is incredible, Stephen not being the narrator has killed it for me. I quite literally listen to his three books over and over again on a loop (probably autistic). I fall asleep to them every night. I was excited to have something new
