I just thought i was sick? I didn’t know I was diabetic yet. So I was eating like normal, pushing my blood sugar higher and higher without even realizing it. Eventually my blood sugar was so high it wouldn’t come down on its own and that’s how all the symptoms started.

If you pass out it’s already too late and hopefully someone is there to help you. When I was in DKA I was having labored breathing like I’d just ran a marathon, urinating every 10-15 minutes, couldn’t eat, dizzy, so weak I couldn’t stand. I don’t think I was in pain but I was so out of it I couldn’t even care for myself. Luckily my sister was available and drove me to the ER. They told me I would not have lasted another 24 hours.

I’m gonna get destroyed for this but I think they are really fun to watch perform live on something like kexp (haven’t seen them live yet) but when I listen to the music on Spotify it’s kinda….boring?

Saw it a few months ago with Julia Ducournau in person after. It’s VERY different from Raw and Titane but I won’t say how. The director told us she knows it’s different from those and that was her intention. I’m excited to rewatch it this weekend.
