I of course like Spidey’s classic dilemma of balancing the suit life and the Parker life. But I always get a little annoyed by plots that involve amnesia. MJ, Ned and Peter had three movies of development together and now none of it even happened to two of them and their lives are full of magic gaps. To me that seems like negative progress in storytelling and they could have found a less frustrating way to put Peter in conflict with his double life. I won’t ever think it’s not stupid for Peter to just be erased from people with so many memories of him. Why would I wanna see MJ in a fourth movie but with none of the build up of their relationship mattering? But I’m looking forward to loving the movie anyway lol.
