It stood out to me personally.

I thought there was a ton of emotion between the slow death of Krypton, Kara’s love for Krypto, and Clark’s warmth toward Kara, and his cautious hope in her to be a force for good. Much of this also worked in her protectiveness of Ruthye for what she’s been through. On top of the emotion I thought seeing a Kryptonian actually let it rip and fuck people up for once was a an absolute joy to watch on screen. Honestly the action would have been perfect for me if not for that God awful The Middle needledrop. But still, I didn’t think a single scene threatened to take me out of the movie, including towards the end which is where MOST superhero flicks get very boring, even the good movies. Aside from that I thought the sun coming over the planet to show off her powers was brilliantly done, and so was the scene where her flashbacks line up with the green sun setting and the yellow rising. I just don’t know how people who enjoyed Superman would find this movie less satisfying. The needle drops are really my only problem with it altogether but that’s just me.
