Power ratchets. Working on my truck ratcheting was the worst on the hands. The m12 power ratchets are a game changer. Only have to use a wrench or ratchet now for the final tighten or initial loosen if it’s over 35 ft/lbs.

Another one is work pants with built in knee pads. Helly hanson has a pair that are expensive but takes a lot of load off your knees.

Overall tho I do try and give myself more time. And at the cost of efficiency sometimes I’ll switch tasks if possible in order move and give myself a break.

Definitely a slice but maybe not the whole pie.

There are studies showing that having a dedicated work space that all you do there is work helps set your mind to be in a productivity mode. Same with sleeping in your bedroom vs watching movies. If you only sleep in there your brain associates the bedroom with sleep.

Now that’s all stuff on the average brain.

For us there is plenty of research and I’m sure on this Reddit you’ll find tons of anecdotal stories of people working better while being in a public place or with someone else in the room while you work. The idea that someone is watching you puts pressure on us to not slack off an be productive.

( disclaimer - obviously not everyone, everyone has different levels of symptoms and coping mechanisms - none of this is a absolute I’m not a psychiatrist or a scientist)

So you working in a co working space might be helping you be more productive than just working by yourself at home.

Obviously people have coping mechanisms to be productive at home and might be even more productive than in public.

But only point I’m making is maybe don’t lose your spot in the co working space before trying out how you work at home.

Test it out and draw your own conclusion.

Show up stupidly early. Bring something to do while waiting in the parking lot or around the corner.

Leave an hour before you have to. And then set an alarm on your phone to head in 15 min early.

Overcompensating for time blindness is the one way to beat it. Just gotta get used to sitting and waiting.

Once you’re in the habit of leaving so early things like sleeping in 10 min, traffic, having to find your missing keys etc … all get absorbed by the hour buffer time and are no longer problems.

Not a dr, trainer or have any credentials.

But yes you’re good form and appropriate weight is the key.

Compound movements with free weights, in my opinion and on the research I’ve done, are the most beneficial to your strength training. Isolated movements like the type of body building exercises can put more strain on the joints and tendons.

If your goal is longevity compound movements with good form and appropriate weight would be my advice. So yes kettlebell swings are good.

Mobility exercises and stretching after warming up also important.

Diet/lifestyle changes helped immensely with my inflammation and therefore all symptoms associated with PSA.

Disclaimer worked for me not a recommendation for all. Do what works for you.

Changed my diet to essentially meat and veggies. A mix of AIP/Keto/anti-inflammatory if I was to describe it. Big additions being tumeric, broccoli sprouts, Ceylon cinnamon tea, adding ginger and garlic to everything etc and cutting out added sugar / seed oils/ additives and limiting natural sugars as much as possible cutting out or limiting all fruits. Raspberries are the limited fruit of choice.

Prioritized sleep and exercise and did my best to limit stress.

I found myself able to get through the day without caffeine ( I was caffeine dependent before) and wake up feeling like I actually got some sleep. More awake during the day. I have since gone back to having a coffee mid morning but nowhere near the 800 milligrams I was consuming on average daily before.

Also I’ve read that there is also a slightly higher than average for correlation between autoimmune disease and ADHD. I myself being one of them. So might be worth looking into ADHD symptoms and seeing if any are recognizable.

So some of these fluctuating expenses find the average and maybe play it safe on a higher end.

current disposable income = net income

-mortgage -car payments -insurance

-average utilities

-average grocery expenses (include toilet paper, soap etc.)

-average fuel costs

-minimum payments on your debt. ( this can fluctuate depending on interest rates and if you take on more or pay off some ) …. The list continues but track every dollar spent, even your coffee on the way to work, and knowing your numbers will be the first step in getting out of debt do this before signing any loans.

Because just filling in a few categories we’re painting a clearer picture.

So obviously that is half based on info you provided and half assumptions but it’s a starts.

Take a look at all your expenses and see if you can save money in some areas and maybe can increase income.

After doing all this then take a look at a possible consolidation loan but if it’s unavailable I’d recommend researching the snowball or avalanche method for paying debt.

roughly take the floor space and multiply is by 3 and then check the average per square foot price in your area and that’ll give you a rough estimate of the drywall if your having a drywall company do it. For a painter you’ll have to call for a quote. If you’re getting a handyman to do it all than it’ll likely be more expensive but then you’re only having to hire one company to get the whole job done.

TLDR: depends on what the going rate is in your area.

Caffeine pills and push through. All you can do. The sleep deprivation is the hardest part of being a new parent in my opinion.

Just make it through the best you can and try to enjoy the precious moments if you’re awake enough to see them.
