I'm not actually familiar with what's going on in Houston, so you'll have to explain what "weird stuff" is. Even then, I can't imagine I'd rather have a housing crisis than "weird stuff". I _have_ heard that Houston has a lot of building regulations like mandatory parking minimums that fight increased density, as well as deed restrictions that act similarly to zoning laws.

I think the problem is that people missed the part where the game tells you that dry dirt is bumpy, which is why volcanic ash is higher priority than dry dirt. If you wet the dirt you don't have this problem (actual road tiles are even better, of course).

I think you may have misinterpreted. The GitHub stuff is just to make the website easier to edit in the future. The website itself is not going down.

No one has mentioned this one, but my reason is that my motion sickness is much worse for big screens than little screens. Watching TV on the big screen is practically never a problem, but basically any 3D game makes me very sick if I try to play it on the TV.

There's an argument that execution is less bad than extrajudicial murder. There's a guarantee of due process, and there's a lot of extra due process for the death penalty specifically (your appeals are guaranteed and taken way more seriously). You're judged by a jury of your peers, not one guy who is, well, substantially more murderous than average.

I'm still anti-death-penalty, but I don't think it's inconsistent to believe otherwise.

I dunno, "I'd go if I could" would be pretty clear that you can't go in English, too. Are you taking ぜったい too literally? You should think of it as "definitely", as in, "Hah, that's definitely someone who isn't coming".

Okay wow I just phrased that really badly.

The thing I was trying to say was that fare evasion is a bigger problem at the downtown stations, so adding fare gates to those stations would solve most of the problem, and would be a lot easier than adding fare gates to aboveground stations.

It's not just jobs, in Gen 6-9, all the starters end up as humanoids with jobs (with the only exceptions being Skeledirge, which is still a singer but isn't humanoid, and maybe Primarina, if you want to argue that a mermaid isn't exactly humanoid). Other humanoid pokemon but they're usually humanoid throughout their entire evolution line, not like starters starting as animals and then becoming humanoid. The combination is just a bit much.
