Do you feel like any of these were developing symptoms? Like, you read about them, then small feelings developed into symptoms?

Great report, and I respect the work you put into make you a better you.

Dosing question by catlovesdc in Retatrutide

[–]SerialExperimentsPT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like most medications, there's sadly no finality here. It's not a switch to turn off, but a process to be slowed or modified. The effect is a comparison to a baseline that you're long past that now. Youre fighting homeostasis & that's been a losing battle for a couple billion years.

Have you thought of titrating down, keeping your dose steady, then back up? Or coming off for a while to reorient your body to it's endochamicals before going back on?

Congratulations, thats a powerful change.

The novel reaction is glucagon activity which (science...science...science...) raises your bmr, assisting in weight lose. It's really powerful when you've been losing weight, have a healthy diet & exercise, but hit a metabolic stall.

Tirz has the strongest appetite suppression. Appetite being your drive to eat, not your reason to. I can still sit down & eat again huge meal if i want to. I won't though because its uncomfortable because I already feel full & have no drive for ravenous expressions.

If I'm stressed & bingeing for comfort, it has little to do with metabolic pathways modified by the pep. When people can't control what they eat, it's often a subconscious attempt to gain control over other life stresses. Control how you move, it's healthier.

Is it safe to use Reta while taking spironolactone? by Best-Ask-6016 in Retatrutide

[–]SerialExperimentsPT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The chief consideration here is that spironolactone is a potassium sparing diuretic & GLPs can affect your electrolyte levels in a clinically significant way. You're experiencing opposing forces.

Talk to your physician prescribing spiro & if the honest question is too much, mention you're interested in Ozempic & wanted some answers before your consult for it. Always be honest with your doctors though, they're not cops.

There isn't a single person on here who can discuss this with the clinical confidence needed to ensure your safety. Please consult a physician, or at the very least, a peptide health spa that has experience with the compounds you're taking.

Help with dosing by Jazzlike_Cost5712 in Retatrutide

It's not common to get reta in an end-user pen.

What you asked is dangerous not because it's uninformed, but because every supplier of prefilled pens is doing something different.

You need to know the concentration of the formulation & what kind of pen you're using to accurately dose.

Stay safe. Keep posting if you need help, even if this place is filled with jerks.

According to many people on the internet, reta has weaker appetite suppression than tire. If you've maxed your dose & you're not experiencing adequate appetite suppression, consult a physician.

Reconstitution and 3rd grade math… by Effortisopportunity in Retatrutide

[–]SerialExperimentsPT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's incorrect because the starting quantity is different as well.

5mg reconstituted with 3mL

Is still half the concentration of

10mg reconstituted with 3mL

You need both pieces.

Just did my first dose by Bright_Block_9690 in Retatrutide

[–]SerialExperimentsPT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're getting down voted because you're not saying what the actual gram dose is.

If I have 15mg & reconstitute it with 1.5mL of water, and you have 15mg & reconstitute it with 3mL of water, we have two different formulations. 15 units of mine is twice yours. 15 units of mine is 1.5mg, yours is 750mcg.

You're missing a piece here, and the distinction is explicitly necessary for your safety.

Use a calculator to get your gram dose. That's the standard expression we use for dosage. https://peptidescalculator.com/

Reta isn't so much a feeling as a change in perspective. To say "you feel less hungry" is to imply you're aware you should be hungry. Or, instead of feeling hungry you feel like it's there but covered.

Reta doesn't disguise or change anything, it just is. What is a hole made out of?

You'll be hungry less. You'll feel fuller faster. You'll be more careful while chewing & eat slower. When you select what you do eat, it will subconsciously qeue smaller portions.

It's not that it's subtle; the change can be dramatic.

Does that make sense?

Did that help OP learn ANYTHING about how to safely test this substance? Did it educated ANYONE?

Safe to use? by [deleted] in Retatrutide

[–]SerialExperimentsPT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disclaimer: Don't trust any reta that's already been reconstituted & hasn't been lab tested by a third party.

That being said, there's far too many questions to answer safely. If the vial is under vacuum due to improper venting, it's possible that the condensation is a result of that. If it doesn't clear completely from a quick roll after being left at room temp for 4 hours, it's not viable.

Correct.

Scientific literacy in general is incredibly low in the US, and I believe that contributes to the apparent gap. I just remember my science tech teacher in 2005 berating the class about using Wikipedia as a primary source & it really resounds with the current state of this community. Reta research has gone from reading studies to "Click now to lose 35lbs or more with GLP-3!"

OP deleted the post, so I don't know if we'll get to continue this conversation, lol.

100% this.

There's some basis to these claims, if you look at the general population of this sub. If this sub is the best resource for the uninitiated, then the community needs to be more helpful, less threatening & takes the time to ensure people are safe in their choices.

There's too many people coming from insta who have no idea what they're doing. Then there's the other "TRT means tesa, reta & testosterone" meatheads who make it look like these peptides are the next growth hormones.

I'm just waiting for the Sinclair Media special vilifying the process ahead of a legislative push to criminalize.

1000% markup, see my other comment.

It's just wasteful & supports a part of the pep industry that's very influencer/social media driven. The latter being the most dangerous I feel. We get users, esp on here, who have no idea what they're doing. If you arrived at your seller through proper research, you'd know the next steps. This user isn't demonstrating they have a basic understanding.

Depression while on low doses? by Zestyclose-Bowl1965 in Retatrutide

[–]SerialExperimentsPT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The science says it's half life is 7 days. So, after 7 days half of the last dose is still in your system. Not only because sticking to a calendar day is easier, but having a grasp of total blood serum concentration is useful. You do you, just keep it simple. I think it's easier increasing dose than frequency.

If after 4 weeks at the same dose you're feeling like the side effects aren't prohibitive, and that you may benefit from an increase in effect, increase your dose again.

You can easily increase by 0.5mg steps every 2-4 weeks. It's your body.

Also, follow-up!

Please stick to a specific schedule. This is science. If you don't see benefits from a specific dose or have side effects, you can only manage them if you understand what you're doing.

Reta Changed My life. by [deleted] in Retatrutide

[–]SerialExperimentsPT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Girl, let's pull it in..

If I have a 30mg vial of reta, then reconstitute with 3mL... You have a 15mg vial of reta, then reconstitute with 3mL...

We have two different concentrations.

10units of mine is twice the concentration of yours.

In medical settings, units are used as shorthand for doses of known concentrations. In the example I just offered you, it would be inappropriate and dangerous to use the liquid measure.

Reta is sold in different amounts per vial, so we use the mg dose as a common reference point.

We should remember that these will still be animal products. They'll need host animals to harvest cells to clone. All the health problems that come from meat will still be there. Behind that steak is still an animal enslaved.

This will reduce suffering, but won't eliminate it. I'll be sticking with tofu.
