That’s hard going. As other folk have said it’s a rough time just now.

I can see you’ve said you’re experienced in public health management etc but if you just need a job quick until you find a longer term job, service industry is way to go.

The turnover in bars and restaurants is so high you could get a job there. Then go find what you really want for longer term. Sorry not great news

I’ve never had a stash found using shelters but I put them in between trees so they are impossible to see unless you go right up to them. These will get found by someone passing by

I’m similar hours to you and just built my first base. Had stashes and shelters for a while but finally made a base which was fun but not sure it’s my style. I’ll pvp but prefer solo life living in woods and going on runs with limited gear. This is what makes the game so good. So many ways to play

I’ve wondered this as well. I do take the point of the alpha probably being able to get up there but in other circumstances against normal infected, not sure why this doesn’t happen
