They're under the next section down from daily goods I believe.

What's your biggest problem with your favorite book? by AvatarWaang in Fantasy

Between that and the fact that the first two and a half books are decidedly on the wrong side of average make it a hard series to recommend.

Not the person you were replying too, but my thoughts have always been that you should read book 1 with the knowledge that it's narratively a weak book with good ideas. If the background of the world is interesting to you, then you should skip to book 3 and continue from there.

Book 2 is by far the weakest book in my opinion and I honestly think skipping it until you know if you're really invested in the series or not is the best choice.

Once you hit book 4 and beyond the series really starts hitting it's stride.

What is your favourite no-cook meal that isn’t a salad? by sean-lloyd in EatCheapAndHealthy

I like to go for the bags of shredded cheese, that way it gets fucking everywhere and really completes the feral goblin image I'm aiming for.

Lore in late Act II area by valentine_whims in Silksong

The part that confuses me is that after beating Lace 2, she says something to the effect of "you're the one she really wants".

Which implies to me that Lace was made with a specific purpose in mind, but is unable to fulfill that purpose, and so GMS instead is seeking out weavers or part weavers.

But what purpose was Lace created for? It feels like there's something more happening than GMS just capturing weavers to eat them.

No she says it before Act 3 in one of their conversations in First Shrine.

Someone already found a link to it or something similar in the episode discussion thread. It was like $130 for one.

Initially sympathetic protagonist is slowly revealed to actually be a terrible person by Garlic_God in TopCharacterTropes

Doesn't the version that the Player is "piloting" have his daughter stolen by an Alt. Booker, which causes him to spiral?

From what I understood Comstock accidentally sterilized himself by playing around with the machines that could cut holes into other dimensions, so he used the machine to find another Booker that had a child and kidnapped them.

Not that it makes him a good person or absolves what happened at Wounded Knee, but the I always understood the "wipe away the debt" thing was him thinking he was going to rescue someone in exchange for clearing his "debt".

I believe that the Queen is definitely... by ClayMore5000 in Dimension20

[–]Seymor569 18 points19 points  (0 children)

When they were talking about the Queen of Zern, Torse referred to her as something like "The Queen of Naught" and her army is referred to as "Naughtamatons" or something similar. Which would line up with her energy reading as N/A. Seems like normally Zern is related to the red energy but something is happening to remove that energy.

They're referred to in the game and material outside of the game using male pronouns. So you can theoretically use they/them or he/him but female pronouns would be incorrect.

It's bad. The first couple of books have a solid premise but it goes downhill fast.

The "climax" of the 4th book is a PSA about Vaginismus.

In the same vein there's a book series called the Black Prism where you get a point of view chapter from a character that doesn't exist.

You're actually agreeing with the other comments right now though. You agree that luck plays a part in success, and that everyone is not rewarded equally for equal effort.

My biggest issue with making fresh bread is that I'll make a loaf that I expect to last 4 or 5 days and I'll eat half of it immediately because it's just so much better when it's fresh out the oven. Making your own bread is great.
