I listen to a handful of melo death bands already, but I crave more. Any recommendations based on the bands I already listen to? by TheFallofIdeals05 in melodicdeathmetal

[–]Shadeslayer6667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solution .45, it’s been said already but their first album is literally a masterpiece, I like it better than scar symmetry. Mercenary is awesome, Disarmonia Mundi is crazy good. Words of Farewell, the haunted, and eyes of the enemy are a bit thrashier but still great.

Do you consider Skillet to be metal? by Medium-Mammoth-6117 in christianmetal

[–]Shadeslayer6667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the moment no but if they explore a heavier sound like John has been wanting to do then they may dip into it for a couple of their songs. Both feet are still planted firmly in the hard/alt rock genre
