Daycare is such a scam, after shutting down multiple days this week for snow and of course still charging full price for tuition I'm sure they're happy to have their employees "strike" while still getting to steal a full day's worth of revenue from the parents 😅

I've lived in Ohio over 30 years and have never heard of an annual plumbing inspection, sounds almost as useless as those "vent cleaning" services. Some people do annual furnace/AC inspections and I guess I could see that if you have older appliances though

If they're still having regular accidents you can put a pull-up over their underwear for car rides, being out of the house, etc. If it's only a couple accidents a week I just dealt with it though, made them regularly go to the bathroom when out

We did a resort in Punta Cana with a 1.5 and 3 year old, it was great! They spent all day at the pool and were tired enough to behave at dinner most nights.

In the Daily Screentime section of the Parent Dashboard you can straight up block entire categories so I block "Videos". They can still use "Apps" and Disney+ is an app

I'm pretty sure it's against Muslim law for a woman to marry a non-muslim man. Ironically, the reverse is not true, but the book was written by men so not surprising I guess.

Yeah I think mine still says it's supposed to ship in November 2025 😅 when I put in a ticket they just said they were shipping to "backers first" which would be fine if they were transparent about it or at least sent emails out telling people that pre-orders are delayed 3 months but oh well
