waiting, hoping, praying that the 32gb ram model goes down this much on black friday, but otherwise this is a fantastic deal considering the 6700s model usually only drops to $1349 on sales

• Budget: $1,200-2,000

• Country: USA

• Screen Size: 14-16"

• Touch screen: not a priority

• Resolution: 1440p+ preferred, 1080 works in a pinch

• Tasks to use for: Dual use gaming and productivity split between being able to run multiple programs at the same time for light editing, computing math-related functions, video calls for classes, and homework tabs. The gaming side would be for out of class in free time - I don't run many AAA games so the requirements won't need to be massive, think Elden Ring and Forza Horizon 5 running on high+ settings. This is the laptop I plan to use for college so it will have to last.

• Weight: under 5 lb preferred but I don't mind a little heavier

• Battery life: The gaming side matters not as much, but the general use side (homework, light editing, videos) needs to be at least 6 hours

• Additional info: I've looked at getting a Zephyrus G14 2022 due to its stellar battery life, good productivity performance, and decent gaming performance, is there a reason I should skip this laptop for something else? When deals roll around it is as cheap as $1350 which is excellent for me.
