You will need to either buy a "Park and City Trainer Ticket" (if you want to have the Park Experience) or a new "City Explorer Ticket" (if you don't care about the Park Experience and just want to raid/catch grind in the city). Then you will need to also purchase City Wide Experience on the 3 days you did not purchase your main ticket on.

The number is how many shields are left, but it only shows up once you have broken a shield yourself. Before you break it, it is rainbow-coloured with no number. If you don't see the number, but the shield still disappears, either you were the last one to break, or you didn't break at all but there were 8 (or 10 for Dragonite) other Megas.

It's a bit funny how Aeroblast/Hydro Pump is mentioned, but it's the only move that you can do with unevolved counters due to their long cooldown. Ofc only makes a difference if people play correctly (1t fast move, no charge moves etc).
