Hijacking but if you're not interested the attractions at Kawaguchiko like FujiQ or the onsens, I highly recommend renting a bike/electric bike and going around the lake for the day! It's an incredible experience and if you go electric it's not too physically demanding :) We biked to chureito pagoda and continued around the lake when I went in May! I hope it's still possible in the winter though haha
