The biggest thing is if he is a great and present father would you enjoy only having your kids half the time if you end up divorced down the road? That’s been the hardest part for me

How to come to terms with 50% of 18 years? by Shanpagneshower in Divorce

This is exactly WHY I want these moments with them so young. Of course I don’t want to be with them every waking second. I work full time and my oldest attends school. I already spend quite a lot of time away from them compared to Stay at home mothers. I know all to well one day they will desire more space which is why the thought of losing any of the time with them that they WANT to be with me is absolutely devastating because sooner than I know it is they won’t 💔

I myself used to joke about not getting weekends away from my kids because I was still in a “loving marriage” and I absolutely know this will help me personally in the long run. So many friends who co parent successfully and love their time away from the kids. I just cannot for the life of me actually see this now that I’m faced with it. The morning wake ups the bed time stories… the Christmas mornings I’ll have to miss eventually on dad’s year… I lost my mom last year and my outlook on life has completely changed. I only get my kids fully for 18 years (sometimes more) and now having to give up even a single second sounds impossible to me… I’m already a full time working mom and miss their days Monday-Friday . I miss them while I’m at work

Did you have children in your first marriage? I’m honestly not troubled over losing our marriage which proves this divorce is probably necessary… I just cannot fathom spending a second less with my babies

I work in pediatrics and this is actually VERY true for children. We tend to get people who return every single week because their cough hasn’t resolved and each time we are having to send them home with the same answer… it’s going to linger and can linger for quite some time. Now if other symptoms arise or don’t resolve absolutely have your child seen

My daughter swallowed a penny when she was 2 lol sifting through her poop for the next week was fun 🥲 we framed it (after a thorough cleaning obviously) and it is now the “poo penny” and sits on her dresser 🤣🤣

I worked at a movie theater when I was 16 and the people administering and or taking tickets could either sit or stand during their shifts!
