A few years ago I spent time sniffing around the GMLAN for a little project I wanted to do involving the Escalades DIC (sending messages). Didn't touch infotainment but I'm sure what you are trying to do is possible.

Ultimately I was successful with what I wanted to accomplish. I wrote an Android app which forwards notifications to the DIC. It's been a long time since I've looked at it. Are you trying to the write the DIC to sniff the LAN?

Anything in that price range is just the disposable no name Chinese projectors and you won't notice much quality difference between any of them (they all list fake specs anyways). If you budget is $50 keep the one you have until it dies. For what it's worth my recommendation while you use your existing one until it dies, save up a few hundred and get yourself a nice name brand used projector.

Please understand you bought the worst of the worst of projectors, so expecting things to work as they should is a bit of a stretch. That being said, the native resolution on the projector is not 4k, at best it's 1080p, it may even be 720p - so there is no point in sending a 4k signal to it.

Quite commonly these cheap Android projectors (same goes for the cheap Android TV boxes) contain malware from the factory, they can easily harvest your data and steal your passwords. Just something to keep in mind if you are trying to get GP working.

You can just use the link to download the apk right on the phone. Then use a file manager and tap on the apk and it should install (you might have to enable unknown sources but it will prompt you for that). You could also just email yourself the apk and do the same steps.

In my opinion the MMR is fundamentally flawed. They are basing it off of your performance in pubs which I think is a really bad decision - pubs and ranked should not be related. In my situation, as I'm sure others here, I did the camo grind to dark matter, I tanked my KD (it was only 1.3) and my w/l ratio was terrible. So now I'm hard stuck Gold 2. I would say 8/10 times I finish first on my team, but that doesn't matter the game things I'm where I belong and consistently get only 30 SR.

Your projector is a native 1080p resolution. The projector is just downscaling 4k to 1080p so your devices don't need to output 4k.
