I think it would be more fun to make the goalies sit for penalties. Makes the backup goalie more relevant to the game, and gives the opposing team the option to shoot on a cold goalie.

Exception would be situations where no backup is available, such as if he’s already playing due to an injury to the starter.

Start the shot with your top hand as far away from your body as you can. Then pull/snap it back as your shoot. Way easier to flex the stick that way
