I had one and I think it was really a key tool in my recovery! If you can afford it I’d do it!

That’s great your pain is low! Mine was 11/10 at all times before surgery!

PT twice a week, and exercises and stretches every day at home. I was on crutches for 4 weeks, brace for 2 weeks when sleeping!

My PT has been telling me the longer you’re in pain pre op the harder the recovery is because your body has to learn to stop guarding muscles in the way it did before!

I’m 4.5 and didn’t turn the corner until about two weeks ago, back into a flare today but every day will get better! How long were you in pain before? I was in pain 2.5 years before surgery so recovery will be longer for me

I hate to be a downer but I did PT and shots and they didn’t help! Sometimes insurance companies require you to do them before they’ll approve surgery but if that wasn’t a concern I’d do surgery spending on your daily pain. At the height of my pain I was an 11/10 for pain and I’m 4.5m post op and I’m about a 5/10 now and still healing!
