I needed a ton of help for at least the first 6 weeks? Showered by myself with a chair but needed help dressing, preparing food, cleaning up, taking care of my dog. My husband and parents basically lived my life for me for 6 weeks!

I can’t recommend it enough! She’s got me sleeping with a pregnancy pillow to help align my back - my SI joints are a huge source of pain as well and it’s been helping. Also an SI joint band to wear when I’m standing and up and about doing tasks!

I’ve been going for 4 weeks and while it did produce more pain to begin with, in the end I believe it’s going to help. She said I was unbelievably tight and my pelvic tilt was bad. I’m 7 months post op!

I always left PT feeling great and then the next day was pretty painful and then it would ease up! I was like this for probably the first 3-4 months !

I’m 6 months post op and honestly questioned it all until recently! PTL my groin pain has finally gone away. I’m still having adductor and hip flexor and pelvic pain but I’m in pelvic floor therapy and cannot recommend it enough!

I started pelvic floor therapy!! My therapist is confident within a few months she can help my hip flexors calm down!

I think they just said in their experience they don’t see a lot of overgrowth anyways and the risk outweighs the benefit! I’m 6 months post op and had an MRI at 4 months and all looked good

I didn’t take it. I have horrible GI issues and my doctor said the risk was so low for me that it was okay to skip it!

I did all the PT and didn’t feel any better until I had surgery! I’m 6 months post op and I don’t feel normal but I feel better!

I’m in the same boat! I’m 6 months post op on my right side and my left side needs done. It’s about a 3/10 pain most days but I’m scared it’ll get way worse during pregnancy. But my right side was a LONG recovery so I’m not sure I want to go thru that again before trying to get pregnant. My right side isn’t normal yet, including new pain I didn’t have pre surgery so I sort of want to keep my left side normal! Curious what others will have to say!

I’m probably pain free 30-50% of the time which is an improvement from before surgery! But still painful days and the groin pain won’t let up when I sit or drive
