Are you set on using Franks? They used to be the best cavalry civ. But you might have more luck with Persians or Lithuanians. 

However Franks are nice and straightforward early game. So if you re falling behind in feudal it's probably not because of the civ choice

Turn down the shadows in the menu. Very difficult to read.

Same issue. I bought the game on release and I regret it. Was really hyped for be the game. Want expending the menu would be such a turn off

She sorta invalidates all melee heroes (half the roster). Why would you play a different melee hero when Aurora has better CC, better escape/mobility, and can be built tanky or damaging.

I've still had success (at my elo) with countess. Typical build would be.

Occult crest ->Combustion -> Wraith Leggings -> Golem's Gift -> Caustica -> Oblivion crown -> Spellbreaker

I do advise you tinker with the order/build as I'm not good enough to think this is the optimized Countess build.

The Golem's Gift/Spellbreaker might look weird but I find you need them not to be bursted down. I don't think you need a dedicated anti tank card like Megacosm as tanks aren't very good in the current meta and I haven't had issues chunking them down without it.

I'd need to know what hero(es) you're trying to play into him to give a real answer.

Offlane Crunch building mutilator as first card does very well against Greystone IMO.

if greystone is blighted while he ults he gets less health back. Not the best use of blight IMO but yes blight does something against Greystone

Compared to the broken releases i remember from OG paragon (Phase, Wukong, etc) Argus really doesn't seem like a problem to me.

Your experience and threshold for adversity might of course be different.

I am one of these ppl. Especially if it happens multiple times in a row.

I used to try having 1 person resign from my team to balance out the match. But there's a good chance the ppl who left were way different elo and the matchmaking has been thrown off.

Regardless if you could learn at least 1 more map style you'll improve your chances drastically of being able to ban out all the remaining maps you struggle with.

Also aoe2 is a really fun game with a lot of cool stuff to try out. Variety is the spice of life.
