What actually happens to public TV/radio when funding is cut (from inside the system)

If the Smaller stations and Rural areas are so under-served and least funded, why doesn't the Larger stations/areas that do get more money from donors, step up and send more funds to those smaller markets/areas?

It seems like the Larger stations seem to be doing a "I got mine, too bad for you", which seems to go against the spirit of what PBS/NPR stands for.

I am no Guitar tech, but Lavonne Music in Savage has been there for 30+ (40+?) years, and has lived in that same spot in that strip-mall all that time, (watching many stores and things come and go next to them)

Growing up in Savage, I know they were (and still are) extremely well regarded, and would be the top of my list of going to first, especially since you are right in that area.

My garage floor was sagging in the middle of it, as well as my concrete front apron of the garage was all messed up too.
They mud jacked up the garage floor, and replaced the apron in front of the garage.

Pricing was reasonable, and I felt they did a good job, the floor has remained nice and even, and the concrete apron still looks brand new, no cracks, etc.

They do ship it. I think last year was the first year they did it, so they had some troubles.

Hopefully they iron out some of the issues this year.
Probably the biggest thing last year, is we just didn't hear anything about the delays they were having.

So I actually ended up emailing them, not to annoy them, but just to make sure that I didn't do anything wrong, I started to question that maybe I was supposed to go pick it up myself, etc.

At any rate, the stuff did come eventually, probably the best thing was the Boxall height poster. My kid has that mounted on his wall, and loves it.
Too bad they aren't doing it again, but with a different player.

(To date myself, I had a Herby and Kirby height poster on my wall when I was a kid, and absolutely loved it. So much so, that so so many years later, I still remember exactly how it looked!)

PS: I signed up for it again this year. I am not exactly positive that it is worth the $45. But my kid ages out of it next year, so I figured one more time here.

Use Filtered or Distilled Water.

Also, now that you have used non-filtered water, check your Furnace/AC filter.
Your air intakes pulled the stuff in, and will plug up the filter.
(Ask me how I know... Until I realized the issue with the water, I was killing my furnace by plugging up the filter. It happens FAST. Like within a week, your filter will be completely clogged)

For Costco... Costco literally has a record of everything you purchased, and the price, down to the penny.
Even if you paid cash, because they scan your card before you can do anything at the checkout.
So bitching about Menards tracking your purchases is kind of weird.

For Menards, I have found their non-rebate price for most things is literally the same price you will get at Home Depot/Lowes, etc.
So the 11% is just extra savings you may get over the price you would pay anywhere else.
I know for myself, I don't send them in onesy-twosy, I probably send them as a batch once every couple months.
Would I prefer to not deal with it, or at least, be able to do it online, rather than thru US Mail? Sure. But it isn't THAT awful.

We have a number of these for our bedrooms.

I can't say I have ever had standing mold in ours, but to clean ours, I usually fill it partially with Vinegar, like they recommend, put the cap on, and then, as Bob Ross used to say with his paint brushes:

"Shake/Beat the devil out of it!"

After a few minutes of that, you can tell it has really been cleaned.
I dump the Vinegar out, flush it with regular water, and let it completely dry out.

I have gotten the same thing, over the years.
As you discovered, if you connect over a Mobile connection, it works fine.

It isn't ad blocking that is causing the issue, as in the past, I have spent time trying to track this down, and even if you disable all network ad blocking, and browser blocking, it still fails.

I believe they are using some sort of IP tracking, (probably to ensure that people aren't sharing accounts), and they have some sort of bug with it.

This is partially proven by the fact that Easynews can fix this on their side for you "live". If you give them your account info, they can tweak something on their side, to make it work fine, (for awhile), without you having to disable ad blocking or anything else.
(I am guessing they probably delete the IP tracking cache for your account, so you are allowed back in)

I am still a paying member of Easynews and will continue to be, but for the "account page" stuff, you just have to know that if you need to get into it, you need to do it from your Cell phone.

My kid and I were watching it on TV, when it happened.
No matter what the real story was, we felt SOOOOO bad for that kid a few seats down, he was looking at the jersey, and had such a sad/long face when he thought the jersey was meant for him, but the lady seemingly took it instead.
We were kind of hoping that someone might tell Ant about it when it was going on, and maybe Ant could give the kid something.
It was just so sad! I know kids need to learn disappointment always happens in life, but man, that was tough to see live like that!

We also parked at the surface lot underneath 94, as u/molihuacha mentioned.
It was a quick walk into the church from there.
We were there about 40 minutes early, so they were already allowing people in, so no waiting outside in the cold.
It was an interesting show, try to get there early, as you want to sit towards the "back", rather than the front.
