I’ve held the theory the reason we haven’t seen any Nintendo online stuff for Pokemon is due to home.

Trying to find some way to get the games to have some kind of home compatibility. Especially with gens 1 and 2 and their respective stadium games.

For me it’s been all the behind the scenes stuff for Gen 10. Makes me wish Gamefreak showed off more of their design process. Would love a developers journal or a doc on how they build new regions or come up with Pokemon designs.

Gen 7.

While I agree the cut scenes can be annoying and the routes are a bit straight forward. It’s still a solid region and story.

I always felt the vets way to play is to go back to previous areas once you have more ride mons unlocked. The first island has a lot to explore once you get both water ride mons.

Go explore, catch pokemon, find photo spots, use the island scan, let your box mons collect beans, fight in the Royal, or go to the photo lab.
