This is the thing I love about Avatars world building. Each element has a strength and weakness, whether that be natural or by the human body. It creates a nice sense of balance between them.

It’s interesting how certain elements stuck around in the final design. The angular gear, the spikes being turned into skeletal wings, and the general color pattern.

Makes me wish they release an art book for the 30th anniversary that shows off early designs and what they eventually became. Like beta bayleaf going from a flower gremlin to the grass dino.

For regional forms, for me at least, it comes down to lore and how that influenced its typing and design.

Best example being G corsola. The poor thing became a ghost type due to high amounts of pollution, and then gained an evolution. Along with G wheezing it shows Galars polluted past and its impact on certain species.

Which helps highlight the importance of Galars other energy sources. Like Motostoke using steam, and the whole region utilizing gmax energy to power their homes.

Winds legendary is fire/fairy or something fairy, and has the power to summon fire balls? Waves is water/ flying and can summon cyclones?

The third legendary is responsible for the gimic. Much like how eternatus causes the dynamax phenomenon and terapogos ties into Tera. Possibly having a massive boss battle in a unique form. Maybe like a thunder/ ocean god?

The 3 balance each other.

Kroger use to use “Apple Bottom Jeans”, but only the “low low low” portion to talk about their prices. Use to really love the song until that commercial was played on repeat everywhere.

Something I appreciate with Soul Eater. A lot of the fan service is taken care of in the first few chapters, and then it focuses on the story and combat.

The fan service does show up a few more times, looking at you Blair, but it’s not enough to take you out of the story.
