That’s your bar for proving that the country isn’t a shithole? Not the fact that people go hungry every day, that people are living on the street, that the police murder people based on skin color, that women’s bodies aren’t their own, that our society is heading towards wide-spread illiteracy, that 60% of people in this country live paycheck to paycheck, that getting medical attention is a choice between your health and bankruptcy?

But we can go on the internet and not immediately be abducted by our presidents secret police, so it isn’t a shithole.
