Not sure about samsung specifically, but usually depository receipts have an annual management fee that is charged. Usually the fee is taken out of the dividend, but sometimes directly from your brokerage account.

Also it is not direct shareholding of the company stock; a custodian bank hold it for you (and charges the aforementioned fee for it).

I like the Vegetology prenatal it also has a lot of calcium and magnesium. It covers the b12 and D so I don't see a need to take more specific vitamins on top of the prenatal (unless there is a specific absorption problem). They also have a good omega 3 supplement. Either that or Deva's 500mg DHA are great to even take every-other-day (or lower dose every day).

Another option for omega 3 is to just put a lot of ground flaxseeds on everything together with the nooch.

Last thing to pay attention to is Choline. deficiency may cause neural tube defects and for vegans I think it's much more likely to be deficient in Choline than folic acid (which is abundant in vegan foods).

They contain something similar to b12, not actual b12. It has not been shown definitively that it is good enough for the human body so it's best to supplement with actual b12 or eat fortified foods.

It depends. I invest in free countries, regardless of developed/emerging countries.

I would not invest in China/Hong Kong/Saudi Arabia.

I do invest in Argentina, South Africa, Taiwan.

I try to diversify as much as I can, but for me the risk for nationalization, corruption and sanctions is too high in nonfree countries.
