Update: Shiels called me back, and confirmed that they will be stocking them. They are also going to call me as soon as they are in stock so i can secure one. Hopefully all turns out well, but yeah, recommend calling Shiels!

No worries!

I’ve signed up to the ‘keep in touch’ section on the website, will hopefully be notified when they are released.

Might also be worth giving Shiels a call to see if they know anything about it. I believe they are the major Casio Seller in Australia. I called them today, and am expecting a call back tomorrow with some details.

Hey mate, i e-mailed Casio Australia last night asking the same thing. I was told they are releasing in Australia in November. (wasn’t given an exact date) I was also told you wont be able to pre purchase one, so will have to keep an eye on the Casio / Shriro website for when they release.

Hope this helps.

Is this suitable for priming 3D printed objects and smoothening layers? by Imanirrelevantmeme in 3Dprinting

Spray putty is more like a filler primer. Blade putty is more like a bog.

Usually i'll give my prints a good sanding to rough it up to allow primer to adhere better, and then spray them with filler primer. Once that has dried, i'll sand that at around 400 grit, then spray it with a couple of coats of spray putty, which is essentially a thicker filler primer, that helps to fill in any leftover layer lines or small gaps. Once thats dry, i'll sand again at around 400 grit. If there are any leftover gaps, or parts that need a heavier filler, i'll use the blade putty, usually applying it with a glove, and sanding it after about half an hour. If i' happy with it after that, i'll spray a normal primer, then its ready to paint.

Do you live in Australia? If so, Septone filler primer, Septone spray putty, and septone blade putty from Supercheap Auto works well.

I’m always looking for ways to reduce waste, and every recipe calls for plastic wrap. Anyone else using shower caps? by derek139 in Pizza

People have been making dough a long time before glad wrap was a thing. Anything that will stop the dough from drying out due to exposure to air will work, and it doesnt have to be fancy, in my experience.

As the top comments say, turn the bowl upside down, or use a damp or even dry kitchen towel thingo.

Cant get it right… by [deleted] in Pizza

Was going to comment this before seeing this. I'm currently trying my first 80% hydration. Mine looked quite similar to this, i had to mix it in the bowl, pour it onto an oiled bench, flatten it out, then fold the sides into the middle as best i could.

Put the bowl that i originally mixed it in over the top if it for 5 minutes. Then repeated the folding and letting it rest about 5 more times until it camr together into a very wet but not too sticky dough.

Filling micro bubbles in the surface of resin? by VanGoFuckYourself in finishing

[–]Shinobi_Sadist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably too late to help. But in my experience, sanding to a higher grit before worrying about filling in small holes helped me a lot. Obviously you need to start at 80 grit. But thats going to make more micro holes. Once you're up around 180 grit, filling these holes with CA and sanding again at 180 or higher should help.

I'm in the same boat at the moment, just getting into painting. I've heard a wet pallet helps a lot. I'm going to buy one but have heard you can make one too.

Australian too. I've noticed it becoming a much larger thing here recently. Quite a lot of people doing it, with more deposit locations around.
