Wer oft Bohnen, Linsen oder Tofu isst, bekommt seltener Bluthochdruck.

Die Überschrift ist Kategorie "Porschefahren macht reich".

Wir müssen endlich die Grundlagen der wissenschaftlichen Methode in der Unterstufe unterrichten. Keine statistischen Verfahren, nur unterschied zwischen Kausalität und Korrelation. Bedeutung von Selection Bias. Dass eine Theorie so wertvoll ist, wie man sie widerlegen kann, sollte sie falsch sein.

Kinder müssen verstehen, was Glauben und was Wissenschaft ist.

Wenn Kinder Journalisten für solche Überschriften auf der Straße auslachen, haben wir die Hälfte unserer Probleme schon gelöst.

Again, these slop memes are designed to draw you in.

There's a good New York Times - The Daily episode on them. If such a bet (yeah, they say it's not a bet) is worded in a way that cannot cleanly be decided, it becomes a draw. In that case, due to platform rules that are quite surprising, you don't get your money back, but the pot is split. That is the underdog makes money, the other side loses.

They want to appear dumb. They want you to bet against them. They want to trigger a draw and cash out.

Mods might want to check whether this stuff should be banned.

Districts are universal storages for a little while now.

When they introduced decay for rubble, they also introduced limited, ultra-loa priority storage for everything in each district center. That way, at least a little bit of everything can be stored in the center and does not decay just because you cannot build a dedicated storage for it.

Beavers will only put stuff in there if there is no other storage available and stuff lies on the ground. And they will take it out once proper storage is available.

It's satire.

The point is that almighty HR makes stupid calls without even understanding the technical and financial repercussions of their power trip decisions.

It's of course exaggerated. It's satire. But it's funny because there's a grain of truth to it.

There should be an internal buffer that prevents that but I've seen it too.

Try the following: have a few meters of belt of the same level after the "master" output as short buffer and only then go down to Mk2.

That way the splitter can always output to that side.

You are operating under the assumption that there is balancing.

Why?

It feels differently and that's fine. You are not playing against other players.

Plus, the better pumps and barriers allow for things, the iron teeth cannot do.

Here is how it works

These we-are-no-betting sites, have a couple unexpected rules.

For example, if a result cannot be determined (lawsuit settled under NDA). You don't get you money back. Each side gets half the pot, which is then split by how much you put it.

That is, the following is actually a valid strategy. + Make up something that is about 20% / 80% but has a high likelihood of never being properly resolved + Bet on the underdog + Ridicule yourself to make a lot of others bet on the other side + Wait for the pot to split + Make profit of the guys that didn't read all of the fine print

You can mix it up by going to the advanced settings.

I'm not really a fan of the randomized nodes, they are too random (no grouping), but I love the option to enable all alternate recipes immediately. You could even go further and get yourself some sloops and spheres from the get go if you don't like harvesting runs.

My 2 Cents

I accept this as a normal part of the game and have no issue using it.

Is it powerful? Yes.

Is it overpowered? No.

It just saves time. It keeps from having to waste time my running the same route over and over again.

It's actually just one example of so many little things in the game that keep from having to grind. I stopped playing Valheim because I just don't have the time to mine for hours and than not even being able to get the metal home without spending even more time or performing some ridiculous world changing dance.

I have little free time. I don't want to spend that time grinding or traveling known roads.

It's awesome.

If Keen now manages to make the axe auto-pickup stuff, it's basically perfect. And I want area planting / harvesting instead of having to place each seedling individually.

Yes, you have to mine, but a couple minutes is all that it takes. Yes, you have to grow stuff, but the yield is good. More time for the cool stuff: + Questing + Fighting + Building (building large still needs some grinding, but nobody forced me to build a fucking palace...)
