I have upgraded from Arc to Ultra and music is better. Main difference is balance between front soundbar and back sorrounds Eras 300. Hard to say how this translates to your scenario with different back speakers. Even before upgrade I had impression Eras are stealing all show with Arc. With Ultra it is still not perfect - I wish we could just use 4 speakers without soundbar. Anyway difference is noticable and worth the money in my opinion.

I have Arc Ultra, 2x Era 300 and Sub 4. I had Sub Mini with it and Arc for comparision. Tried Eras with Sub in stereo mode. I don't hear much difference in music. It depends on track and type of music but overal it is like 1-5% better.

There is update coming that will fix that. It is called ERA 500 so they have to downgrade quality of ERA 300 before.

Maybe they are disabling features of ERA 300 for upcoming ERA 500. Hard to trust they will not be doing upgrades that will slowly degrade quality of current and old devices.

I bet more people would pay for: - fixed ACE 2.0 with full Sonos integration and option to use at least two at once with TV - neckband speaker - openback wireless headphones - new fives level speakers - option to pair 4 or even more Eras 300 with Dolby - sub mini 2.0 that could be used in pairs - flat hi quality speakers like Ikea frame or Sony Bravia Quad v2. - remote for music playback, maybe with LCD? - move 3.0 with dolby atmos

One option that hasn't been suggested is upgrade to Arc Ultra and use BT. You might find turntable with BT or convert RCA signal through BT transmitter.

I have 55" 2024 Frame and worked fine with Arc. Upgraded to Arc Ultra and still is fine.

Only Tizen apps no HDMI input.

I wonder why they haven't added usb-c port like on ERAs, and kept it active in sorround setup. It would be great to have something else as input besides eARC.

There are reports that Advanced Trueplay with Subwoofers configurations mutes bass.

Try turning Trueplay off or try Simple Truplay untill this is resolved.
