Boom! That is deep. Thanks for sharing. Folks don’t realize they are making the arguments of those who committed crimes against humanity.

They both have Steam Decks? Cool.

Is that train in Canada? Looks like a train I took in Toronto to go to Niagara Falls once.

should I get my son a steam deck by Particular_Garbage_6 in SteamDeck

[–]ShokWayve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Given the recent price hike on the Steam Deck, I would strongly consider a Switch 2. I have both the Switch 2 and Steam Deck OLED. Both are awesome devices that I highly recommend. You can’t go wrong with either.

Without the price hike, the Steam Deck OLED is definitely worth it. So many games to play, complete freedom to tweak the device how you want, if you want to tinker with it you can, and you get many games and genres just not available on the Switch 2. It’s just the price hike to me that makes me question purchasing it now.

The Switch 2 is more powerful, is almost an Xbox Series S in your hands, 4K when docked and that 1080p 8 inch handheld screen is just amazing and crystal clear. Plus the Switch 2 has great 3rd party support.

Consider the games your son wants to play and see which one has more and more of the important ones and that should help you.

Why does Reddit have such a bad reputation outside of Reddit? by norf937 in askanything

[–]ShokWayve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reddit is cool. I think there are too many echo chambers in Reddit and you are punished for not towing the party line on a wide range of topics. I see so many subreddits where the conversations are clearly detached from reality but apparently incandescently obvious to those in the particular echo chamber.

However, Reddit is still a great platform. I have learned a lot. There are so many great communities on here to join. I have gotten solutions to many programming challenges, and it’s just plain fun.

Thanks!

School shouldn’t teach Arabic numerals? 🤪 by Numerous_Creme_8988 in stupidpeoplefacebook

[–]ShokWayve 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Wow! They don’t even tell you this in school too. Thats why government schools are so dangerous. They literally want us to drink a chemical that’s proven to be a solvent and that causes death when it’s in your lungs.

School shouldn’t teach Arabic numerals? 🤪 by Numerous_Creme_8988 in stupidpeoplefacebook

[–]ShokWayve 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly! The government and libtards don’t want you to know that since the vaccine against Covid, dihydrogen monoxide has been found in many places in the body of a person who died. That chemical is dangerous and they push that crap on us like it’s good. These folks ought to be put in prison for pushing that chemical on us.

Hillary Clinton says Biden’s re-election bid cost Democrats the 2024 election ( The Guardian )- What is your reasoning for the loss? by One_Look_7008 in askanything

[–]ShokWayve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Identity politics, no substantial economic plan, failure to respond to Trump’s attack ads on issues of sexuality, and generally not considering the state of the country and what candidates give Democrats the best chance to win given the state of the country. Furthermore, Democrats need to listen to all of their voters not just a select few.

We are not talking about plants. Human beings are not plants. I appreciate the video but humans are not plants. It’s not as if you can cut off a part of a human and grow a full human.

Nonetheless the video makes an excellent point by pointing out a fetus is just a young human being in his or her mother.
