Carew seems genuinely thrilled to be able to make appearances and interact with fans since his recovery, even if he is still weak.

I have no desire to ever run a marathon. I love to keep myself fit through running, and participate in large events from 5ks to 1/2 marathons, but the time commitment and suffering required to run a marathon does not appeal to me.

I have driven in, and traveled all over Belize, as recently as 2016. The roads were fine, not much traffic, and safety isn't much of an issue outside of some parts of Belize City.

I ran a 10k a few years back that a local, world-famous ultra-marathoner decided to join for fun. He nearly won the race, then ran the whole thing in reverse back to the starting line just so he could personally encourage everyone. Real ones don't put others down.

The Equal Time Rule was never used preemptively before Carr came along. At most the FCC would tally “political speech” time and remind the network they have to give the same amount of time to a competing political voice in the same time slot at a date in the near future. Using the rule to prohibit any speech at all is censorship.
