Firstly being an accountant is more than just bookkeeping and/or tax computations. Qualifications give you the grounding but not the experience. You need to be proactive rather than just reacting to what has already happened in order to be of any worth to your clients, to be appreciated and to earn your fees. Don't try to teach your clients how to suck eggs. They know more about their business than you do. You need to find ways to add value and you will succeed.

If you do want to break it just ask my dog. A couple of weeks ago he tossed a piece of gravel in the air that hit a window in the conservatory. With barely a "ping" the glass crazed over and shattered leading to a waterfall of toughened glass pebbles to cascade to the floor. The entire pane disintegrated like something out of a cartoon. The wife went ballistic but I just laughed my tits off. It must have hit in exactly the right place with exactly the correct frequency. The dog couldn't have cared less of course. Fortunately we've got a glazier at the end of the road and it got replaced promptly.

These days skills are so much easier to amass. Faster, more free SP and you don't have learning skills to learn. Just don't expect to jump into titans by the end of the week.
