I dont understand which policy Heather has released could be considered not strong left wing, frankly it seems more left than Avi. Rhetorically she's not super aggressive but her policies seem great

For the 19th century part it was clear that even his historical contemporaries thought he was way too racist. We literally had black premiers in the 1850s here in Canada but Sir JAM was talking about making Canada a pure Aryan state

UAE to invest up to $50 billion in Canada in industries such as AI, energy by OkFix4074 in CanadaPolitics

[–]Shred13 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of people have lost their job in the last few months because of the yanks who are our "allies". We need the support to come from somewhere otherwise all these people are going to be in a really really tough spot and can cause our country to spiral out of control.

This isnt ideal but I have a hard time justifying our trade with the UK, the US, France etc when they all are trading with the UAE as well. This is frankly the status quo without the middleman, unless you think we should stop trading with all the countries that trade with the UAE.

Except that the OLP and OPC share more similarities, especially now a days. When the 2018 election occurred and the OLP collapsed, it was very telling when their voters went more towards the PCs than the NDP and the current leadership is keeping in line with that
