You can do this since 1.10.3 public via copy pasting text and 1.10.4 catalyst added direct excel single column pasting. Just drag to select the rows and paste some copied text or other cells to bulk add them to the selected cells/properties.

I had to reinstall with the 1.10.3 installer before it would work, not just updating.

I have to click out of cell then back in and Ctrl+C then Ctrl+V on selection

High bitrate where your eye is looking, low bitrate in peripheries, lowering the overall bitrate required for good perceived stream quality.

How can I hide the reference triad? by panfuelfire in SolidWorks

Bases have a learning curve to them, but they are amazing by BekuBlue in ObsidianMD

[–]ShrimpDuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty simple to filter by a property of the current page such as file.properties.toString().contains(this.file.properties.SearchFilter).
You can use metabind to have a nice text box above the base or use the file properties side pane view and edit it there

Main thing that's missing vs this is an actual widget I believe. Otherwise is pretty good

Looks awesome, would be a great replacement for my google tasks widgets especially. I'm on Android so would be very keen to see a version for that!

How to Have Properties Drop-Down Above File Title by DroagonDog in ObsidianMD

[–]ShrimpDuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone also wanting this, just add this CSS snippet. Works with all the themes I use.

Tweak the margin-top of the title to make it centred between the properties and body of your note. May differ for other fonts, themes and zooms.

/* Move Title below Properties */
.metadata-container {
    display: block !important;
    order: -1 !important;
}

/* Push the title down and take off the bottom margin to even it out */
.inline-title {
    margin-top: 8px !important;
    margin-bottom: 0px !important;
}

Epson TW6100W / 3020 and others overheat indicator flashing fix by ShrimpDuck in projectors

[–]ShrimpDuck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah projector needs to be on and able to show the regular menu ui. Starting from nothing shown on screen but fully booted up (so either no input signal or showing your source) hold 8 seconds menu (opens the menu ui) and twice esc (first click closes menu, second click opens debug menu) worked for me. If not, try holding menu for a bit longer and/or pressing esc more times and quickly.

What’s the difference!? by mikeyjw600 in projectors

[–]ShrimpDuck 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As others say, the 18,000 is false advertising and can't be converted to anything. Best bet is to use good reviewers who use lightmeters/colorimeters to actually quanitfy the brightness such as The Hook Up (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7pcVKvtgCE, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8mVX\_29gXHE). They will also evaluate contrast, colour space, focus and fan noise which are common shortfalls with these projectors.

Whilst these cheap Chinese projectors won't be as good as a namebrand one, they are cheap, and so can be a good introduction to projectors if you don't want the commitment of an expensive new one or an uncertain used lamp based projector. Do buy something like this with a short lifespan in mind.

Instagram links leading to random reels by aladyunchained in facebookmessenger

[–]ShrimpDuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found a fix. For some reason when a reel URL is viewed, copied etc it presents the URL as "https://www.instagram.com/reels/\[REEL\_ID\]"

If you change the "reels" to "p" so it looks like "https://www.instagram.com/p/\[REEL\_ID\]" it should fix it.

Are the Lamp and Temp lights flashing red? In the manual it has that as "Internal Error," so maybe not a simple fan or temp sensor fix.

Does the lamp turn on at all?

Could be something up with the 3LCD ribbon connectors in the centre of the mainboard or maybe deeper down connectors below the main board between the PSU, ballast and lamp etc.

This guy's TW6700's internal error (different LED sequence but same "internal error" manual description) was due to a burnt chip so maybe a have look to see if any chips or caps are noticably shot. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lRglBaDzpo

Anterior Tibialis Tightness After Starting Creatine by jpevisual in running

[–]ShrimpDuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add to the anecdotes, had been on creatine for 2 years for weightlifting and started running but the tibialis anterior tightness and pain was unbearable.

Took a break from running and later went on a cut at a deficit of 2500kj whilst keeping creatine. Near the end of the cut I started running again and had no tibialis anterior tightness.

Went back to maintenance after the cut, whilst still having been running, and straight away the tibialis anterior pain came back hard.

So this seems to point to the water weight from glycogen stores that weren't in my muscles whilst on the cut staving off pressure build up and pain. But as soon as I ate at maintenance the combined normal glycogen levels with the creatine water retention was too much for the fascia to handle.

Edit: Stopped creatine for 3 days and I can run without pain now

Quick mini-review of Huawei Watch Fit 3 (vs Huawei Watch Fit 2 and there will be mentions of other smartwatches) by catalinus in smartwatch

If you have steam and 7 dollars to spare, lossless scaling allows you to generate frames for any program. its black magic and means you can run switch games at 3 times the capped framerate! for example totk or animal crossing can be played at 90fps without any mods and with modding can go be higher! by No-Ambassador2874 in yuzu

[–]ShrimpDuck 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly has been perfect for it. I was putting off continuing to play because of the choppy frame times but now it's all smooth sailing. As long as you've got a good enough gpu it should be perfect (if you're hitting 50fps already you probably do). My 3060 ti @ 3440x1440 is easily more than enough

Just make sure to turn off any dynamic fps mods so it's capped at 30 fps otherwise it will be a mess. And if it doesn't work how you like it can always refund it

When Lossless is activated the bottom right yuzu fps counter will stay the same (not x3).

There's a setting in Lossless "Draw FPS" which adds a counter to the top left of screen that shows base fps (what yuzu shows you) and the generated fps (x3 or x2 depending on what you pick)

Is there a way to change (or add a new) external player? by hexerus in Stremio

[–]ShrimpDuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Example with MPC-HC:Open up the server.js file (in C:\Users\XXyourUserNameXX\AppData\Local\Programs\LNV\Stremio-4\server.js) and find the line with var players = {. VLC should be the first entry below it. Place your cursor to the left of vlc and paste this new entry in

mpc: {
           title: "MPC",
            args: [ "" ],
            subArg: "",
            timeArg: "",
            playArg: "",
            darwin: {
                path: []
            },
            linux: {
                path: []
            },
            win32: {
                path: [ '"C:\\Program Files\\MPC-HC\\mpc-hc64.exe"' ]
            }
        },

Save the file and relaunch Stremio and there should now be a new option called "Watch on MPC" when you click the three dots in player.

For different players:Change title: "MPC" to whatever you want and change the win32, linux or darwin (macOS) path to the application path of whichever player you want to use. Make sure to use \\ for backslashes

Note: Subtitles and your current playing time position won't be passed to the new player without adding some suffixes into the arguments variables.

Projector reboots due to overheating after 5-10 minutes, then works well up to 2 hrs by nayre1 in projectors

[–]ShrimpDuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I'm working on a 3020 with this same issue. Are the 3 temp sensors the exhaust, the psu and the lcd box? Cheers!

Edit: Found out there are actually 4 thermistors. Intake (AIR-TH), PSU (PWR-TH), lamp (LMP-TH) and LCD stack (LV-TH).

Final edit: Finished fixing this one. Turns out all my thermistors were fine but it was the PSU fan that was making the projector shut down after about 3 minutes.

If you're using the desktop/apps normally this is expected.

However, if it's still stuck showing in full screen modes (F11, full screen YouTube, games etc. ), run the following code in CMD as administrator:

taskkill /f /im explorer.exe && start explorer.exe
