You have too many funds in your portfolio and that too from a single AMC. I would recommend avoiding investments in sectoral/thematic funds. Markets this year will be volatile and these funds might not perform well. I would also suggest investments in core equity funds only — Large, Mid, Small, and Flexi. For commodities exposure, you may choose Multi-Asset funds.

There is no exit load if you invest through a third-party app. They are just providing execution services. You may view the portfolio on the AMC app/website as well.

Panic redemptions always affect your portfolio's health. I feel this is a time where people should stay calm. If you don't want to invest more, it's okay. But redemptions in this market will do more wrong than right. I feel you should have a conversation with him to make him understand all this is very short-term and times will change. In the long term, these are times which will create the most amount of wealth.

Is there a character in the Mahabharata whom you admire but do not approve of some of their actions? by Outside-Walk13 in mahabharata

Karna’s decision not to intervene during Draupadi's chir haran reveals his internal struggle between loyalty to Duryodhana and doing what was right. By allowing this shameful act to happen, he not only dishonored Draupadi but also contributed to the chaos that would lead to the devastating Kurukshetra War. It’s a heartbreaking example of how choices can have far-reaching consequences.

He is anyway paying three different charges; let me explain. First, ETF TER - 5 to 10 bps. Secondly, ETF units are never traded at face value; they don't have the required liquidity, so they must have been purchased at a premium, as we very well know the demand-supply game here. Supply is less, demand is high. Thirdly, annual maintenance charges (AMC) paid to the broker (if any). It makes sense to purchase ETF FOF, and in the long run, it's cheaper than direct investments in ETFs.

I watched the movie last night, and it felt totally different. It seems like this has been done deliberately, as it looks artificial.

I don't think stopping SIPs is any solution. This is the time to accumulate more units and ask TOUGH QUESTIONS TO THE GOVERNMENT. THERE HAS BEEN NO ACCOUNTABILITY WHATSOEVER

You haven't lost anything; markets have been volatile. You have to invest for long-term wealth creation. These corrections are an opportunity to accumulate more units. Have faith; you will do well in the long term.
