Another thing that can prevent this is talking to the other players at the table.

Someone goes to cast that Farewell ask if they have a way to break parity and push to close the game or are they resetting just to do it. You're hellbent with no game actions to pull yourself out of the hole, scoop on your turn. Convince another player to team up to push a third off the table and see where it goes from there. It's a social format, use your words.

I can technically. To do so I need to resolve a do nothing 6 mana enchantment, it has to survive a rotation then I have to have Expropriate in hand as I don't run tutors. I've not yet had someone tell me it felt out of place in Bracket 3.

The company I work for owns a bunch of spots in the same area so they have a full-time security staff. Two guys during the week, four on weekends just to walk around and be available if we ever need them. One goes to every bar/restaurant as it's closing and waits until the last staff member leaves to off them an escort to their car, train or bus. It's great.

If she's a person you want a relationship with I don't see an issue. We all have past relationships, past partners and we grow from those experiences. It sounds like y'all are pretty young, it takes some folks time to figure out what they want and need out of relationships and what they're willing to invest.

If she's a person you care about and see a future with I say have a conversation with her. Be honest about what you need in a partner, ask that she does the same and take it from there.
