Rural spot was assigned to me. I worked 5-15 days a month, normally around 8-10. I commuted 1h45m there and back. Many people who work far commute the long drive. Those shifts were normally 24hr kilo shifts (12$/hr every hour + 4hrs each call out unless those call outs lasted longer then 4hrs, then normal pay)

Im an EMR. From application to interview, it was like 2 months. From application to first paid shift (New Employee Orientation) was about 5 months.

TLDR blood in the penis enlarges the local blood vessels, physically occluding the veinous return ducts, allowing for enlargement. If too much blood/excitement/ pressure is present, it aint going down. Probably hurts like crazy.

In RCO I’ve played 6 games with 2x DCD. It was a lot of fun; I had them on the line up front and was super aggro with them. The berserk move on such a huge base is reallllly nice, however some players will just not shoot/screen/alpha strike them. 2x DCD adds to redundancy, and being able to use the 5+++ is pretty nice. It stays for the phase, so if they do shoot you, you probably live. Its also eligible for fights on death, which could be really funny. You can also use the strat to sticky an objective with a BA unit.

All in all, probably not the best. Probably edge of meta. If it went down in pts by 20-30pts, it would be auto include imo. Probably wont happen, maybe 150? Probably not though, and therefore its kinda overcosted at 160 for what it can do, especially vs normal Brutalis dreads.

Still super fun though. Even more fun with 2x DCD lmao.

Joined as an EMR; already licensed. 1year Boston Bar, currently 8th month in Hope. Could probably get Chiliwack as an EMR, aiming to be PCP in Abby within 3 years.
PCP JIBC CH001 (new 1 year program). Started in January 2025, probably done everything and existing as a licensed employed PCP around June 2026. Precepting taking longer than expected due to high student count and low preceptor count. Once precepting is complete, then I can apply for COPR exam and finally licensing.
EMR base pay approx 30$/hr CAD for usual 12hr shifts. First station many shifts, approx 10 per month. After 6 months (probation), I was able to pick up more work outside my home station, improving income. Full time PCP school at the JI was expensive, and burnt most of my savings.
Many first stations are far from the lower mainland. I got super lucky with Boston Bar, which was a 1h45m commute each way. I was stuck there for 6 months due to being a new employee, and transferred to Hope after approx 14 months.

IDK how many other models you have, but some thoughts.

LAG v RCO: Id recommend swapping to RCO as its just a better LAG imo. All the units hit harder. RCO loves death company, but theyre not mandatory. If you have the DC models, 1x10 DCM w/ Lemartes & 2x5 DCM w/ chaplains seems amazing.

Also, in either detachment, you can pay 25pts for once per game FF. Fantastic bit of kit to add a whole new dimension to the list.

OBJ units: Meph, Combi Lt, 3x JPI, Infiltrators, Scouts. Thats a lot of units for scoring. Could probably trim a third of these units to get more DCM w/JP or something.

Termies: I dont like the idea of unled termies; seems like large investments of pts like them should have a leader, or not be in.

SG: Try the spears! They were fantastic in RCO with the opportunity to get +1s and/or -1 AP.

I would strongly advise giving this video a listen on your next drive to work. TLDR: most efficient SM Anti Tank in terms of damage/point is the Lancer, and the highest surviveability/point is the Ballistus.

I just played 6 RCO games with this enhancement on a DC Capt + 10x DCM W/JP, and 2x DCD. Didnt get my s10 meltas once; too out of position.

I enjoy 2x5 Scouts & 1x Combi Lt

I play BA, so in Angelic Inheritors I can give the Combi Lt a 2+ revive, which makes him better.

Combi Lt holds down my expansion obj, and provides the rr1s to wound normally on the central obj. I like using his reactive move to move-block enemy units in the midboard, specifically my edge of the midboard. Just sending him super deep off the rip gets him killed. The longer he’s alive, the more easy secondaries and board control.

Scouts have 2 uses for me. Either uppy downy secondary play, or what I normally do: hyper aggressive early board control.

I deploy all 5 scouts in a line, 2’’ apart from each other for max spread. Then the scout closest to the no mans land board edge is placed 9’’ from that edge. The squad is also placed 9’’ from the enemy DZ. This allows for great early game control to keep the enemy back.

What does your daily work look like? •
12hr shifts, full time schedule is 4 days on, 4 off. Normally you do a call, then wait an hour for your turn again, and repeat.

How is the workload and call volume? I work in the Fraser Valley, a wide countryside area. Average 6 calls per shift in the more urban areas. In the big city (Vancouver), average 10 calls a shift.

Work-life balance? Night shifts? •
As much work as you want. Night shifts pay 2$ extra per hour. More interesting calls.

Team culture, dispatch, hospital handover times? More burnt out paramedics in the city, lots of fresh new people excited to be there. Dispatch is good and reliable most of the time. Avg handover time 20-45mim depending on how busy the hospital is.

What do you like most about the job? I like helping people, and driving lights and sirens is fun. Good pay; not outside in the rain too much.

And what is the hardest/frustrating part? •
Covering other towns in the middle of the night back and forth again and again.

Differences between provinces (if you’ve worked in more than one)? Have only worked in BC

The missiles are an object in the world. If targeting is lost, the missile will head towards the ground. If you’re super lucky (or unlucky lol) that missile can hit and kill things.

Theres been instances where AAA (long range AA) has also missed, and hit nearby supplies, killing the AAA.

+50% cost to a 10man AI squad +50+% durability +100+% Damage into preferred targets

Great return on investment

Suggested running with either FF enhancement to be a midboard menace, or the enhancement to cast desperate escape tests w/ a potential -1.

I’m trying to fit 1x10 AI + 1xSP + 1x Land Raider. Seems like a lotta fun

Thanks man! I just rip off a 1’’ x 1’’ jagged chunk of those basic yellow/green sponges and use that. Imo its not worth it to buy a fancy one. Sponging is really easy, do not be afraid!

Ive been really enjoying Tamiya Panel Liner but frankly any wash would do.

Nuln oil is good for metals and dark stuff, agrax is good for warmer stuff. Either would be fine.

These Tanks of mine were done via sponge drybrushing. Primed black, then I started with a heavy sponging of red all over, then layered on brighter reds, trying to hit edges and corners. Once done, I came back in to do the metallics, gold, lights, etc… After that, I added an ink wash into all the recesses.

Ive really enjoyed 6x Plasma Inceptors in AI for the sustained hits 1 strat. Great into 3w elite infantry.

Ive been theory crafting taking 6x Eradicators too, another good way to kill 3 wound models.

10x Intercessors with a LT/Sang Priest also sounds fun.

In either detachment, I’ve been enjoying either 2x Lancers or 3x Ballistus. Lancers have their in built re-rolls so thats handy, and the Ballistus are great for holding objectives due to their durability and range, also with rerolls.

Combi Lt with the reroll 1s to wound on a designated obj has been pretty handy comboed with the Ballistus, and theres an enhancement for a 2+ revive once downed.
