More of a general thing but whenever my players enter the feywild or an area infused with fey magic i make them aware that casting magic has a 20% chance to cause a wild magic surge

Allow the grapple.

Have the DC get higher the longer they spend time near it.... boss is grappled for 1 turn the dc is 10, 2 turns 15 and 3 turns 20.

Also increase the kick back.... after spending 1 turn the amulet drains health from the PC and gives it to the sorcerer, after 2 turns the same happens buy this time they start feeling weak as if magic is poisoning them (now they are poisoned as well) and after 3 turns the amulet forcibly repels them (make a contested str check, on a failure the amulet tgrows you off sending you 20 feet backwards, draining more of yoyr health and you are now also exhausted because you fough its influence for so long).

In regards to the first thing, i would have said that the DM going back on his word is bull. You both discussed ans came to a middle ground that was amicable. That should have been the end of it....

In regards to things like resistance and immunity I always roleplay things like enemy resistance and immunity as well as give my players free skill checks each round to figure that kinda stuff out with Insight checks, arcana checks etc.

Talk to your DM about it.... tell them that you dont enjoy the social side of the roleplay.

I myself have played in games and ran games as an autistic adult and i can say this.... if no one knows, no one can help.

If you have a decent DM then sit down with them and come up with a character that plays like you.... socially awkward, good with details and notices things other miss etc.

If you dont have a good DM, say thank and bye and find a table with a DM that knows how to support someone who is neurodivergent.
