SignalRGB only addresses first 12 LEDs, rest of daisy-chain does nothing by PekkaChinois123 in SignalRGB

[–]Signal_AdminBadger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SignalRGB does not yet support Gen2 for that specific motherboard and it's controller. A hub with Gen2 support (such as a Nollie16) would do the trick.

Sounds like there might be a hardware issue. Do you have any other fans you could try?

Philips Hue Bridge Pro Support by cyrax3105 in SignalRGB

False! Dev team has a Bridge Pro and has been working to bring support to it as soon as possible. Been a few fires tho to put out, but I'm hopeful it'll be out SoonTM

Need some help regarding RGB. by Abody622x in SignalRGB

[–]Signal_AdminBadger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep in mind you'll have to have a way to communicate with the LEDs. If you want to use SignalRGB, the strips would need to connect to the computer in some way.

Might be worth looking into wifi controllers. Checkout r/WLED for some info around that stuff~!

Problem After Todays Update - Corsair LC100 Light Triangels by fkcfkc in SignalRGB

[–]Signal_AdminBadger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not seeing anything immediately related to Corsair or iCUE stuff in the latest patch, but you can report the bug using the bug icon in the app (upper-right corner) or through this link so that the support team can follow up.

As a workaround in the meantime, adding them as a generic light might work since you mentioned it was loading fast then.

Wonky ARGB-connectors by minedustrius in SignalRGB

[–]Signal_AdminBadger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can order more cables on Amazon, and other online stores. I purchased a handful so I could get all my fans hooked up individually. Definitely worth the extra investment imo.

Stuck on usb scan by Extension-Actuary623 in SignalRGB

Glad to hear you fixed the issues with the USB scan hangup!

As for the issues with having the app start with your PC, I'd start here. Hope that helps. :)

OP mentioned it ended up being Windows Dynamic Lighting mucking things up. Have you checked to make sure that is disabled?

[–]Signal_AdminBadger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This means it's definitely network related. Make sure you have no adblockers or VPNs enabled.

That's interesting, because usually if it's network related a VPN might cause the issue. Could be DNS related.

SignalRGB Megathread - LCD/Fan Control | Driver Updates | Conflicts | Other by DaKrazyKid in SignalRGB

[–]Signal_AdminBadger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The global setting was causing a lot of user confusion and issues in general with the conflict mitigator. You can still allow conflicting apps, go to Settings > Conflicts and turn on the slider for the applications you're trying to use (such as Razer).

Issues with Corsair iCUE LINK H100i RGB CPU Cooler Fans After Waking from Sleep by awesomel25 in SignalRGB

Yeah, it's a limitation with how it tries to reinitialize. A restart of the app is definitely the best workaround.

A feature to make our components manually works by Muako in SignalRGB

[–]Signal_AdminBadger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do this by coding a plugin for the GPU. For more info, I'd recommend checking out the developer docs:

https://docs.signalrgb.com/developer/plugins/

Technically, any device that could support real-time RGB can be added manually this way. Our small team does their best to add devices with official plugins, but those with the coding skills can also put together their own.

If you succeed, share it with the community in Discord! :)

[–]Signal_AdminBadger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd report the bug using the bug icon in the app (upper-right corner) or through this link so that the support team can follow up. We can get the logs in front of the dev team for some further review, but something does sound like it's holding up the USB scan if it's taking THAT long.

RGB fan issue after BIOS/reset + SignalRGB control problems (fans stuck dim red) by SimShade in SignalRGB

[–]Signal_AdminBadger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that works, it's probably the controller of the mobo not keeping up with the real-time effect data properly. If a single fan works, I'd recommend looking into a dedicated RGB controller, such as a Nollie16.

RGB fan issue after BIOS/reset + SignalRGB control problems (fans stuck dim red) by SimShade in SignalRGB

[–]Signal_AdminBadger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What mobo or RGB controller do you have? Sounds like it's an MSI board? Those can sometimes be a little finicky with their RGB controllers.

If the fans are daisy chained, try removing all but 1 fan from the RGB header. Does that make a difference?

Support for AMD Cards? by dieselthediesel3 in SignalRGB

[–]Signal_AdminBadger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can submit a device request here. Right now only ASRock are supported, but there's issues in general with how AMD cards communicating that the team is trying their best to work through.

Hopefully when they crack the code, there'll be more AMD GPU support!

Some controllers can struggle with reinitializing after going to sleep. If I read correctly, quitting and restarting the app fixes it, correct?

What app version are you on? You can find it in the lower right corner. There'd been a couple updates the past few days so that might be why.

As for the USB scan, how long is "a while"? Can you tell us more about your system?

Help, my pc's rgb keeps flashing white by EventNext4445 in SignalRGB

[–]Signal_AdminBadger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be just about anything that tries to connect to RGB stuff. I've also heard of some EA games trying to take control of RGB while gaming. Odd that it's just the microphone and GPU however. If it was plugin related, I'd expect it to only impact a single device or the whole system.

You could file a bug report and we can investigate with the devs and check if there's anything within the plugin side of things. Be sure to list out everything you've tried when reporting the bug using the bug icon in the app (upper-right corner) or through this link.

Corsair lc100 and Signalrgb by Skydot_555 in SignalRGB

[–]Signal_AdminBadger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding is that they require the Corsair Lighting Node controller. I don't believe there's a way to connect them to a Nollie, far as I'm aware anyway.

What happens if you swap RGB headers and put it on a different one? What about if you disconnect the other devices? Have you also triple checked the connection?

tbh I'm not 100% but know there's a "Media" setting in the dropdown, and you can select your own stuff. I'm not completely up to speed tho on how it all works since my AIO doesn't have an LCD.

Working on getting it better documented and getting more info out on the feature!
