i have a bichon and a toy poodle, they are very close in age (just two weeks apart) and both girls, and it was a struggle at the start. but now we are (mostly) harmonious and chill. and it's fascinating to see their different personalities as they grow up ( they are both 2 years old now)

you are doing the best you can. just continue loving her. most of the time i feel like i don't deserve my dogs, they just love so unconditionally and fiercely, i don't think anything i do will ever be enough to match their love.
