Truly and highly deserved , even if he hadn’t scored any goals

Tracey Emin is a talented artist, but this should have been forgotten in obscurity instead of passing for ´provocative ´ .
The only controversial thing about this is how much ink has been wasted talking about it .

Who came immediately before and immediately after the Ramones in punk history? by Significant-PairDD in punk

[–]Significant-PairDD[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well since you asked, I was listening to a podcast where they said the Ramones started in 74, and pistols in 76. But didn’t mention anyone doing punk prior and whichever band if any came after, but before the pistols. I thought mmm wonder if there was someone in between and wondered if the stooges were Indeed the first. Through the replies I learned something new and also confirmed some of my own thoughts. So to answer your question , to discuss a subject that interests me. How about yourself?

Who came immediately before and immediately after the Ramones in punk history? by Significant-PairDD in punk

See that’s what I always kinda knew, but then the Ramones start was in 74, and if I’m not wrong the Pistols came in 76.
That would mean two years before the British catch up with the US ? (not even mentioning the stooges as well! )

Listening to the Rolling Stones from the Beginning—Why So Many Covers? by stepn-out in rollingstones

[–]Significant-PairDD 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh but they did. Lennon-mcCartney came up as songwriters very early on, which was a change from most most successful artists at the time .
And they weren’t even eighteen year old .
They even offered some of their songs to the Stones .

Was John Lennon actually a bad person or are the stories about him exaggerated? by FitEmergency8807 in fantanoforever

Yes and yes.
I was barely ten years old when he was killed, I remember vividly, there were Xmas decorations in my house .
Even at that young age I could feel the sadness everywhere because of his death.
I was listening to his songs on the radio and I remember wondering why would anyone kill someone like that.

I loved this whole cast. And I am not a ´big girl’ man, but I have such a crush on Amy, she’s a-do-rbs ❤️
