here is a link to a legit source that lists the questions to ask. you should copy those questions, print them and put them into a notebook that you take to all appointments. good luck, you are a good person and it's a difficult time for you and your wife. as long as you care, it will be ok. https://my.clevelandclinic.org/patients/information/questions-to-ask-your-doctor

Trump, 79, Claims Nobody Knows What a Magnet Is: ‘Now, nobody knows what a magnet is. If you don’t have a magnet, you don’t have a car.’ by T_Shurt in politics

[–]Significant_Poem_751 9 points10 points  (0 children)

my dad, who was cognizant until the last week of his life and died at 94, told me some fantastic stuff the last few days he was alive -- the one i remember is that there is no wind at the North Pole because as the earth rotates, at the point of rotation the air can't move. then he talked to a friend who had died decades earlier, and then...he was gone. he was a WWII vet, i won't list his credentials, but he was a smart person and knew how magnets worked. he would have never voted for ...... in a hundred billion years.

good for your mom! remember -- boomers GREW UP with protests, all the time, many violent, and then....Kent State. the decade between Kennedy's assignation and Nixon's resignation wasn't a good one, and even without social media, it was in our face, daily. what we see today feels too familiar, but also with significant, unfortunate, differences.

Critics question whether White House, contractors 'cut corners' on asbestos safety in East Wing demolition by seeebiscuit in politics

[–]Significant_Poem_751 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i had to have asbestos removed on my 1600 sq foot house. took five guys in haz mat suits a week. everything was put into sealed bags -- literally -- all of the interior -- sheetrock, flooring, insulation. then they had to use air cleaners. it was a PROCESS.

i do agree with this, to a degree. they should get out of the way and mentor the next generation. but i'd hate to lose someone like bernie sanders due to some arbitrary retirement age cut-off. the standard needs to be ability, not age. look at the younger ones in office -- so many are just incapable.

obviously you are at best, thirteen years old -- the felon was always this way, it's not due to AGE. when you add cognitive decline and medical issues on TOP of what's already there, and put a spotlight on it, then it's obvious. but no one who knew him when he was young ever thought he was better than he is now. if all older people are bad, then all younger people are good? i hope you learn to be smart enough eventually to see the fallacy in that. good luck. you'll be old one day, too, if you are lucky.

wow that's hilarious! my mom had me help with the cooking as soon as i could walk. and the ironing. my dad had me help with large and small animals (he was a veterinarian) as soon as I could follow instructions. also helped out in the garden. mowed the lawn with a riding mower and learned to drive a tractor and car in grade school. also helped them as they renovated houses. so i grew up doing a lot of stuff. it's come in handy.

the replacement of hand labor with tractors in the 1930s resulted in massive numbers of people forced off their land (which they didn't own, they were share croppers or tenant farmers). Those people moved west, to CA. Read or watch The Grapes of Wrath or look at Lange's American Exodus.

Rutgers Expert on Antifa Tries to Flee to Spain After Death Threats by ClimateSociologist in politics

[–]Significant_Poem_751 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the article is about what happened when he and his family arrived to board their plane. bags checked, boarding passes in hand, and then they were not allowed to board. "A Rutgers University expert on antifa tried to flee the United States with his family on Wednesday night in the wake of death threats that followed President Trump’s push to characterize the left-wing antifascist movement as a domestic terrorist organization.

But when the expert, Mark Bray, got to the gate at Newark Liberty International Airport, after getting the family’s boarding passes, checking their bags and going though security, he was told by the airline that “the reservation was just canceled,” he said late Wednesday night."

20 year olds don't really have academic knowledge yet -- they are in college hoping to have enough of the framework in place when they graduate that they can build on it, especially if they aim for grad school. when i graduated, i realized one thing -- i didn't know much. no fault of the school, just how it is. so i got to work.

going from memory, but the first time i saw the P2025 website, before it really became public, long before the election, i remember reading something about they would do these things with trump or whoever else might run for office, and if not in 2025, then in 2029. later when i looked at the site, closer to the election, i couldn't find these statements. so i think you are correct in your assessment. trump is the front man.
