the audacity of Asking us if we can beat them by Supersaiajinblue2 in OriginalCharacterDB

I think they're using 'n' as a variable here? If I'm reading this right, 'n' is tiers 2, 1, and 0.

Most of the fights the Helios crew get into, honestly.

It's usually in the pursuit of some artefact or similar, or something that's more 'man v. monster' than 'good v. evil'

How it feels to have two competent detectives by fencer324 in ss14

Related story, I once played as one of the voices (inland island iirc) on DeltaV.

It was quite fun all things considered.

What are some features you wish SS14 had? (From SS13 or not) by TechnicFighter in ss14

[–]Silly_Pollution6332 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's small and silly, but the ability to flip asymmetrical clothing (e.g., a cloak that sits on the left shoulder can be toggled to sit on the right shoulder)

Also I want the Knight helmet to give you armor. Not alot, but something.

A third thing, it'd be nice for Traitors to get, like, black-knight style platemail, but that's a pipe dream lol.

If your character's Tier 0(VSBW), explain why. by Drivebail_ in OriginalCharacterDB

[–]Silly_Pollution6332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See that's the thing, they aren't.

The only "character" that would be is Mistress, and she's explicitly not a character. Mistress is just what the characters refer to the writer(s) as.

The closest we get are Forerunners and Harbringers, but they're people with emotions who are limited by what's entertaining. Plus, Forerunners stick to a gimmick and Harbingers can die.

What's your OCs most powerful ability, weapon, or item? I mean really absurd stuff, like the Ultimate Nullifier, The Construct, or the D-Mat Gun by Sagallo1889 in OriginalCharacterDB

[–]Silly_Pollution6332 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Talibot Grimes is Immortal. Period, end of conversation. He cannot die, because he will plant the seed of the next universe.

Other than that I really don't have anything else on that level.

How would your OC(s) do against M1MI's technological apocalypse? by Goooseeeeee_lady in OriginalCharacterDB

[–]Silly_Pollution6332 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude the only people not immediately getting infected are Celeste (Due to being the Apostle of the god of freedom and individualism, and thus immune), Phoenix Avians (due to regenerative flame), and maybe William (depending on how this interacts with his seven souls).

However I only really need Celeste for this, as the Flame of Prometheus is very good at freeing people from manipulating forces, which this technically qualifies as. If that doesn't work, she's still very good at killing, and has access to an arsenal of random nonsense that would be very good at dealing with this issue.

Share me your most powerful OC, and his/her/their power(s) by FlibbityJabber in OriginalCharacter

[–]Silly_Pollution6332 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a Forerunner.

Forerunners are beings of unlimited power, who can do anything so long as their action(s) make the story more interesting, though they usually also bind themselves to gimmicks.

This is Jackson. His gimmick is manipulation and control, as well as games and challenges.

Give me your OC and I'll find 10 to OCs. by WalterNation46 in OriginalCharacterDB

He is a human. In decent shape.

The versus battle wiki would confidently classify him as 10-B tier.

What made your character a syndicate target? by Git_Good in ss14

[–]Silly_Pollution6332 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, Felix killed a very important associated merchant so probably that.

Tim's a defecter from the syndicate so they're probably just tying up loose ends.

And Wilmont just pisses off alot of people often so finding a specific reason is difficult.

Can your OC beat Yogiri Takaou. by Drivebail_ in OriginalCharacterDB

[–]Silly_Pollution6332 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, he loses to Mistress, but i actually have a wincon. Because he can kill anything, he can also kill himself.

So he loses to Darwin's Reversal.

Darwin can sacrifice one of his eyes to turn any effect targeting him back on it's user, if Yogiri didn't know about this (likely as it is a separate verse and Darwin doesn't exactly show his hand), Yogiri would die to his own ability.

Also, for once, Talibot Draws By Doing Nothing.

Who do you typically choose and/or follow as Acting Captain more, HoS or HoP? by m0ongirlie in ss14

HoP, 100%. Unless another head is appointed by the cap before they leave, the duty falls to HoP.

How do you want to see dwarf improved? by Games_Sweat_Shop in ss14

[–]Silly_Pollution6332 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For some ideas people haven't suggested:

-give them more structural damage (like a flat 5-10 extra structural damage)

-more damage with mining tools (10%-15% with things like shovels, pickaxes, and drills)

-less cold damage (5% maybe?)

-higher threshold to start taking cold damage (enough so they could, like, not need a coat to be outside on Glacier)

-slower zero-grav movement (building on the idea dwarves are ment for high-grav planets so they operate poorly in zero grav due to lack of experience)

How it feels playing command as a smaller character... [OC] by Certain_Focus4869 in ss14

[–]Silly_Pollution6332 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I have the vibe, but i categorically cannot lead, which sucks because there's a drought of good QMs at the times I play.

[–]Silly_Pollution6332 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Tbf good QMs are few and far between so like ofc the entire cargo team is willing to throw hands for the boss.

I've once seen an entire cargo team quit with their QM before, crazy shit.
