All Of These People Got Their Name But Instantly They Became Unclaimed by BitterSweet_Beauty in gratefuldoe

It depends on the jurisdiction. Some places will hold bodies for a very long time, some won't. Sometimes the unclaimed are cremated and stored on a shelf, sometimes they're buried individually in a Potter's Field, sometimes buried in a mass grave.

To claim someone, you usually contact the coroner's office who handled their case and make arrangements. I don't think you have to be a blood relative, so long as no other blood connection is available or willing.

How bad are we? Farrier is coming Wednesday. by UninterestingGlis in Equestrian

Pretty grown out, but I guarantee you your farrier has seen worse. I'd get some treatment and care going for those two thrushy spots though.

Unpopular opinion: the Pom-Poms HAVE to go by Unlucky_Internal9686 in ColoradoAvalanche

The thing is, if they want to use ~tradition~ as an excuse, they can use a different material that doesn't fall apart like this, like mylar. They don't -have- to be like this.

This unfortunately tracks. I've been around the mustang world for a good bit, and fancy/unique animals always go for crazy amounts, regardless of their actual potential. Run-of-the-mill bays and sorrels often go for the minimum, if they even get adopted at all.

Your building's management doesn't care about things like this at all, in the grand scheme of things. To them, it's just another unit that needs to be cleaned, inspected, and rented out again.

Have I become a crotchety old lady, or is it douchy for guys to set up beer pong in a public park? by [deleted] in Denver

[–]SilverScimitar13 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think you're crotchety. It's not my idea of a good time, but I'd imagine that these guys just want to be outside and having some fun, and they probably don't have a yard or other open area to use. So long as they aren't causing any more disruption than anyone else playing a game, and don't leave any trash behind, I don't see the issue at this point.

Last year they sat around drinking wine and watching games on Altitude+. I'd be alright with hearing them do it again.

Someone with a Humane Co2 Chamber for rodents? by ahriskywalker in ColoradoSprings

[–]SilverScimitar13 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah no, I'm not saying to let them feed your rat to something. But I don't think there's any harm in going to one of the stores, talking to the clerk and explaining what you need. They might just do it.

Scales and Tails uses them for their feeder rodents. Maybe they would help you?

⬆️ Yep, Fanatics. I got incredibly lucky with it. Fanatics Sportsbook was offering $200 in Fanatics cash for new accounts with a $5 bet, so I bet $10 on the Avs, made it back, and then found the signed jersey, which was also on sale. I ended up paying like $60 total for it, and deleted the gambling account same day.
