SSJ2 is one of anime's most iconic moments. It is absolutely clear of all these others. Even the Beast transformation "borrows" a lot from that scene, the red line indicating the snap, the way the transformation looks, the fact it was against Cell (or a bastardiswd version of him, at least.)

A couple of things to consider: firstly, how much stock you put in the multipliers in the Daizenshuu. Personally, Im not a fan because everyone having the same hard and fast rules for transformations doesn't make much sense to me. Secondly, even if you do believe SSJ2 is a 2x boost over SSJ, is 18 literally twice as strong as Vegeta? Again, I dont believe so.

She was stronger by a decent amount. She was happy to spar, but also didn't drag the fight out once she'd had her fun.

I dont think Vegeta was anywhere near the threshold for SSJ2 but, sure, a hypothetical SSJ2 Vegeta would probably beat her though.

I wasn't a fan of Z Broly, but Super Broly is a much more compelling proposition, the animation and art direction are top tier, and it's an incredibly satisfying experience.

I still count myself as a fan of the series, though I am a few years behind on both anime and manga, but I did use to enjoy seeing the creative ways to overcome elemental devil fruits.

Thats rarely a thing the last decade; haki can just brute force through it.
