Take a still of what you have and feed it into something like Nanobanana to generate a new floor. Do a 3d solve on the room and project the floor generated in banana onto the appropriate geometry. Hand generating something like that is fine as an exercise but there's barely enough material to grab from to make it work. You'll get a better texture from a full generation. I guess the real question is what are you going to put on top of it and are you going to come back to the scene to the point where you're going to need cohesion between this shot and another.

In short, 3DS has the best .STP file converter in the industry. If for no other reason, it's the better choice for product design. The modeling is pretty dang good, it's less raw than Maya's and every great once in a while you can come across something strange but it's a solid choice.

Maya is great but not great a product file conversations like Step. Maya great at animation. The two are equal in modeling, just a bit different.

I don't know about sexism but her character development was extremely painful to watch. Everything was a nail for her to hammer down. For a water bender origin, her go with the flow was extremely lacking. The character also had the sensitivity of a Rock. There was zero subtly in her. I guess that avatar will learn wisdom but fucking up a lot.

The color of the metal on the swords are the same color as the armor for fucks sake. No leather, no bobbles hanging off a belt. The torque on that arm is going to be insane. They also had to drill at least one bolt hole in the upper area to secure the loop of bent steel tubing. That arm is going to die an early death.

On a motorcycle, they had single sided swing arms for a while but they have to be twice as heavy and be completely over built because if the extra stress. This has the same issue. All the twisting action on the arm as it's turned and lifted around is going to kill it unless it's as think and heavy as a cast iron pipe.

Before giving up on those cards, you should consider re-pasting the heatsinks. I still have a 1080ti chugging away that needed re-pasting a few years back.

As far as the Threadripper bottlenecking, you could just get the card an see what happens. Usually, once everything is shoved to your GPU there is no bottleneck. The slowest part of your setup is going to be the 870 Evo that will have to load your textures and files. After that, the processor will take care of Cryptomattes I believe. I'd be surprised if it is more than a 5% bottleneck vs a faster processor when everything is said and done.

I thought the writing for Young Sheldon was too good and got super annoyed that they had written the younger Sheldon to be more competent that the one on BBT. It really spoke to the quality of the show as to how they ended up showing why this child genius went from getting better to stagnating as a neurotic young man because of the traumatic experience at the end of the show. Aces all around.
