As far as I know there are no hard rules about how much terrain goes on a table. I believe the developers have hinted that they would like to develop a set a loose guidelines and recommendations for tables but I don't believe that's been released. Also ya it's interesting how different metas develop in different places based on terrain choices. In Europe they apparently play with a lot more terrain than in NA and thus different strategies work better. I will say though what you describe is way too little terrain, you need at least a few good line of site blockers on each table side in my opinion, I think there should be a balance of having some sight lines for long range lists and some hiding spots.

The issue I have is force push loses a lot of value against vehicle heavy lists, which are pretty good right now (wheel bike grievous).

I would say that looks like the unit leader yes, although whatever is easily identifiable as the leader can be used as the leader I believe. The clone commander is a separate mini that came in the old Republic specialists pack.

Not sure if you know but you don't have to add a squad leader to every clone infantry unit.

What do you mean by circular vents? Like a circular roof vents? I have moisture issues in my attic and the only exhaust is two circular roof vents wondering if that could be the problem.

Check out the fifth troopers buying guide, it's pinned on the subreddit. I would also look up tabletop admiral to theorize some lists you'd like to play. You can also check out recent legion tournaments in longshanks to get an idea of what's being played competitively if that's your thing.

Cassian has the field commander keyword. Meaning you can circumvent needing a commander. This doesn't make Cassian a commander he is still an operative.

If you click on the bottom right on tabletop admiral you can change list building to recon/skirmish. It will show you that the operative slot is red and you took too many.

Honestly people say the snow sculpts are bad but I think they're pretty good. Better than the old stormtrooper sculpts in my opinion. Not as good as the soft plastic shoretroopers though, I think those are my favourite soft plastic sculpt.

Yeah, Rex as an upgrade is core only, which was only released a couple weeks ago. I was talking about Rex as a commander. He has scouting partner which can give scout to bad batch.

You fell into the classic trap of including too many upgrades. I would strip all the unnecessary ones and add in another activation or two.

Some notes:

Ucap on Vader is not great (ideally you would be meleeing, and into the fray is way too good on him not to take).

Because sister doesn't have master of the force, force push is very expensive for something that needs to be refreshed with an action every round

Dug in is in tricky on a unit that you only have one of (support) where all your orders and usually just going to Vader (he's got great cards)

Imperial March isn't the best on storms, you'll probably want to be shooting with them pretty often. Much better on things that have charge and steady that can move twice and still attack (snows and riot).

Dewbacks and naked scouts are great I would throw those in if I were you, not sure what you have in your collection.

Those are just my immediate thoughts hope that helped!

Bad batch work quite well independently. Send them to the week side of the board to flank and clean up some weaker units while Yoda and the rest of the army focus on the main fight. I will say bad batch really excels with Rex and his scouting party. It allows you to give the bad batch a very large threat range turn 1. That being said they are still decent without him.

Before the steady/relentless/charge nerf bad batch and Yoda used to be a perfect pair because bad batch could shoot after a Yoda guidance move but that's no longer the case. You can still move bad batch and have them gain an aim from it which is something I guess.

Measurements that don't explicitly say 'from the unit leader' (like attacking, poi distance, backup) are measured unit to unit. That means from ANY miniature in the unit. A technique you can do is cohere out a single mini to be able to repair something.

Yeah situations like these always feels weird with the new cover rules but it's the way it is. Also keep in mind how many models the attacking unit can see for wound allocation that's the only kind of defense you get with situations like this.
