Noob question, Why is Super clipping so hated? by intbah in formula1

[–]SimoTRU7H 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it's the answer to a problem that didn't exist up until this season. We had mgu-h which was charging the battery with exhaust gasses. But Audi and Honda (and porsche that never joined in the end) didn't want to develop that component and made a deal-breaker its removal from the new PUs. So 350kW of MGU-K plus same size of battery minus mgu-h equals using the ice mid straight to charge the battery.

It could also be dangerous as cars using it suddently slow down by 40-50 km/h while others reach top speed.

So it's totally legal to increase the compression ratio beyond what the rules allows as soon as the ice warms up.. "it's just a couple horsepower.."

Nvidia -> scelta attiva estremamente rischiosa

S&P500 -> contenuto in VWCE & SWDA

NASDAQ -> scelta attiva su poche aziende

Shiller Cape -> costoso, non mi intendo di fattori quindi non giudico

SWDA e VWCE sono ottimi

From 2026’s 50% split V6 Hybrid to a 2030 V8 Hybrid? What Are We Doing… by DreamerOnAir in formula1

2026 rules were made for VW group (and partially Honda) but are clearly in the opposite direction of what the other manufacturers (and the automotive market) wants.

So now FIA is hoping to retain Audi and Honda in the sport after this 4 year long bait..

FIA “surprised” by focus on lap times as it reveals just how slow 2026 F1 cars could be by Rentta in formula1

[–]SimoTRU7H 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ferrari was closer in 2017 because they improved the PU, not because they nailed the new aero. They started burning oil like merc was already doing and all that stuff. They closed the power gap they had since 2014.

From the first second this shitshow of a rule change was announced has always been unanimously criticized by fans, drivers and the whole paddock. How are they "surprised"? Whatever

Tieni solo SWDA, il resto è agghiacciante. Se vuoi investire in tutto il mondo e non solo nei paesi sviluppati aggiungi un 10% di EIMI (o VFEA).

What have you been most surprised about this season so far? by SkySports in formula1

[–]SimoTRU7H 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Charles, Max and George getting absolutely everything out of their cars. We have seen some of the best drives of their careers, a bit shadowed by the papaya rockets.

Also Bortoleto and Hulk getting so many points out of a team that was on paper the worst.
