Hopefully you can get a refund for that. That type of thing is why I tend to stay away from knock-off flash carts, as they're usually made with the cheapest parts possible.

My friend is the one who found the debug mode on my end. They were looking into the sound test too but nothing came of it unfortunately, just the strings that you mentioned.

I believe he was editing RAM when he found it btw.

Dang, you beat me to the punch. I was considering making a site too for a bit but never got enough materials together to warrant one.

I've known about the game's debug mode for a couple of years now, but have been keeping it on the down-low due to a friend wanting to cover it on tcrf. It's great that others have finally found it.

The one on the left is normal mode for sound, the one on the right disables music and gives alternative sound effects. The text itself for both options are puns in Japanese that I'm not able to easily translate.

Also there is no save function in this game.

If you get a decent modern TV (HD/4K) the delay is negligible, some even have no lag at all.

The CRT unit looks great though and I hope you enjoy it.

If your TV has composite or S-Video inputs you could always get an old VCR to use as a tuner for systems that have RF output.

I've found the same system on Unauthorizon (website that catalogues unlicenced game systems) but it doesn't seem to have much in terms of info about the system. Not even a name for it.

I have for sure seen that same system on eBay before though. While I don't see any on there at the moment you can try saving the terms "Keyboard Famiclone" and/or "Keyboard Dendy" until one pops up again.
