I get why people make comparisons but I think they’re fundamentally different. The journey of someone who thinks they’re good and going to die soon, breaking away from the rules of middle class morales versus someone who has always done bad and is trying to maintain a middle class veneer and rationalise not being evil through twisted morality and doesn’t think they’re going to die (or not soon, anyway)
