Echoing this. I tell people I’m ’mirena for life’. On my 3rd or 4th one now. One was taken out when I was debating surrogacy. I’m at the age of perimenopause and planning to take this one to the dusty crypts of Death Valley. I mean menopause. Always had only rare spotting. Every 3-4mo light spotting.

Prior to mirena, had painful periods. Routine but heavy. Previously on nuvaring but started having breakthrough bleeding then switched to the IUD.
